We arrived and went straight into the spa. We were given a robe, towel & slippers. But we had taken our own towel & flip flops as we were not told these were provided in our email. Unfortunately they can not tell the size of the robe as there all packed after being dry cleaned, So mine did not fit and I had to cover myself with a towel. The ladies changing rooms smelt damp but were generally clean. The treatments were amazing and so was the spa area. The afternoon tea was very sparse, the cakes were bitesize, one mouthful & the scone was rock hard. Probably the most disappointing afternoon tea I've had. But overall a lovely afternoon out, and despite the disappointing afternoon tea, I would go back.

The reception staff were so welcoming and polite, the spa staff were so nice especially the lady on our first day and treatments were so lovely. The only disappointing things was that our treatments were cut short as others said in their reviews which was a shame, rooms were a bit dated and stained carpets but overall pleased.

It was very good value but only issue was treatment was a little late so I was concerned I would be late for the afternoon tea booked afterwards. Otherwise a nice treatment and the pool was lovely. Nice showers but would have been helpful if instructions about what to bring as left shampoo at home thinking that would be provided. Otherwise, excellent.

I stayed here with 4 girl friends to celebrate a special birthday. We had a lovely overnight stay with a spa treatment, evening meal and breakfast included. The hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating making our stay very relaxing and enjoyable. Can’t wait to do it again!

We spent one night as a family in two different rooms. Everything was perfect, we were slightly disappointed with the food specially the main course. The fish and chips ordered the fish was undercooked and white instead of yellow or golden brown. The katsu curry was dry. The chicken was prepared in the same way as in the starter and katsu sauce drizzled over. However, it was a nice touch with the Prosecco given for free. Would highly recommend this place to my friends and family. One suggestion would be to display a location map on the website as the sat nav took us to a different location with the postcode mentioned on the website.
