Was excellent staff amazing considering everything going on. Was a shame we couldn’t use the whole spa area but totally understandable. But again the staff and treatments more than made up for it. Can’t wait to visit again.

Third visit to the Spa. It is very relaxing and comfortable. Previous visits were midweek, this time we arrived on a Saturday morning. We arrived at 10.30am and went straight to the Spa. Staff are very friendly and happy to explain anything to you. It was obviously a more popular day for couples and all ladies groups. We particularly enjoyed the heated Jacuzzi pool which is half indoors and half outdoors. The thermal suite has something for everyone - steam room, hot rock room, sauna, aromatherapy steam room, massage shower, waterfall shower and ice room. Robes, towels and slippers are provided, as is shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hairdryer, straighteners and security locker. A vast range of Elemis lotions and potions are used for treatments with an option to purchase. The only way it could perhaps be improved would be to have the option for herbal teas and refreshments poolside.

Hotel is situated in a lovely spo t- beautiful views. Staff friendly. Spa experience excellent, and facilities good. The bedroom is a good size, with a lovely big bed and large well equipped bathroom. Evening meal had a good selection in its set menu and we thoroughly enjoyed the tasty food. Only downside, breakfast was disappointing. Had to queue for approx 15 mins though staff did try to place people as quickly as possible. At 9.30 (breakfast finished at 10am) there were a few cereals finished and not replaced. The hot buffet was not hot, was oily - bacon and black pudding, and we felt we were picking the remnants of what was left.

Really enjoyed our experience at this hotel, everything was lovely and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. It’s a great location. Treatments were lovely. I’ve been to more decadent spa hotels and you do get what you pay for but it was all absolutely fine.
