Now that we’ve got Christmas out of the way, it’s only a few weeks until we have to think about another way of spoiling our ‘special someone’ and the shops will soon be crammed with teddy bears, soppy cards and heart-shaped boxes of chocolates. (I still have boxes left from Christmas, so will someone please tell my other half not to give me anymore!)
So, if you’re thinking of a way to show the one you love exactly how you feel, you could, of course, go the traditional route and show your devotion with a box of chocs, a bouquet of flowers or a cuddly Valentine’s Meerkat. Or, you could show the person who means the most to you exactly how much you care by giving them the gift of….you!
You may think that sounds a bit daft, considering they clearly already have you, but how much quality time do you really spend with your significant other? How much of the time you do spend together is send glued to Eastenders or embroiled in domesticity? Wouldn’t it be nice just to spend some really relaxing time together, just the two of you?
Hotels and restaurants will probably be putting their prices up ready for Valentine’s Day, but don’t worry, we have some seriously great Valentine’s packages for two, ready to be snapped up. Why not opt for a gorgeous, tranquil Lover’s Pamperday, and soak up the romance of a spa day for two with no TV, no kids, no housework, just some time together to rekindle the romance and remember why you fell in love with each other in the first place.
Savvy Valentine’s gift shoppers also know that if you buy your other half a spa package for two, you get to enjoy a spa day too! Everyone wins and it’s much, much better than trying to get a table at your local Indian or a bunch of supermarket flowers that will wilt before the week is out.
It’s up to you, but I know I’d prefer a spa day to another box of Thornton’s Classic any day!
