If you’re thinking about spending a spa break in Wales, you could do a lot worse that Wales’ largest spa. The Vale Resort near Cardiff. The lovely spa has just been refurbished to the tune of 250,000 and has been winning awards left, right and centre, including being the top rated 4* hotel in Wales, and a Good Spa Guide five bubbles award.
The refurbishment of the spa included adding some great new features, like sleep relaxation zones, chill-out zones and water areas. The fact that the spa has managed to get five bubbles is impressive, because to get this it has to be pretty outstanding in all areas, including treatment quality and customer service. I quite fancy a trip to Wales for a spa day myself now, just to see what all the fuss is about!
To go with the brand new facilities are some great new product ranges, including Christy Turlington’s exclusively designed Sundari treatments which are based on Ayurvedic philosophies and treatments.
The latest additions add to the 19 treatment rooms, floatation tank, and everything else you would expect in a top class spa.
Managing Director Stephen Leeke, said that he and the staff at The Vale were over the moon to be awarded their original four-bubble status in 2008, but that achieving five bubbles following the refurbishment had been fantastic, and a reflection of the great new facilities that have been added.
He said that everyone was really excited about 2012, and hoped that new look and all the fabulous new spa features would help give spa-goers the ultimate in relaxation and pampering…as well as giving visitors the best prices and great value for money. Hmm…maybe it’s time for that visit to Wales?
