Eye surgery in a tube?

Transfomulas Eye Gel
Eye-surgery-in-a-tube?

Well, it certainly beats having surgery – just landed in Boots this week is the brand new Transfomulas eye gel that Elizabeth Hurley is supposed to swear by and which costs just £30. The media buzz around the new wonder gel is making me want to try it myself – if only I hadn’t spent so much money on holiday!

Jemma Kidd, who also knows a thing or two about what’s hot in the cosmetics world, is also said to be a big fan of the little tube, and the waiting list is horrendous – currently 8000 people are clamouring to get their hands on a tube and it’s been winning awards all over the place when it’s not being talked up by beauty industry specialists.

So what does it do? Well, it lifts firms and tightens the skin around the eyes, and what’s more, the gel gets to work straight away on tired, puffy eyes as it gives your peepers a welcome boost of moisture and gets to work on restoring a youthful glow to the eye area.

It’s also supposed to work miracles on eyes that are over-tired from constant computer use (this is where I start getting excited) and parting (if only).

During trials a pretty darn amazing 100 per cent of the people who tried Transformulas gel said that they saw results. A staggering 90 per cent said they had less fine lines and wrinkles, and 70 per cent said that it reduced puffiness. If it could make my dark circles go away I’d be out there risking the wrath of my ever-patient bank manager in a quest to buy a six-month supply…

Have you tried it yet? What’s your verdict?
