One of the friendliest and most beautiful places we have visited. The staff in the spa made us feel like royalty and our experience was first class.
The castle and its surroundings were a joy to walk around and the food was worth the price alone.
We will definitely be returning.
We found the facilities and location amazing, were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Our lunch was good, and for a light lunch quite a lot of choices. The treatment wasn’t rushed and made us feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Would strongly recommend this location.
Ruthin Castle is absolutely beautiful and picturesque! The staff are really attentive, friendly. The spa was amazing, I've never had a spa day or stayed in a castle, this experience was a special birthday treat for me. The room we stayed in is fabulous! The spa treatments were amazing & ever so relaxing! We had a walk around the castle grounds, it's historic with beautiful peacocks gracefully walking around. Highly recommended, definitely come back again. Thank you Ruthin castle for a fabulous birthday 5* experience with exceptional customer service!
Had such a fantastic overall stay here ! Treatments and accommodation and food all amazing.
Just returned from a 24hr spa break at Ruthin Castle. The day ran very smoothly, the gym looks out on to woodland but there are peacocks outside so whilst running on the treadmill it was very interesting to watch the peacocks. I think the spa could have advertised its treatments as when we were shown around you had to book some of them in advance which I wasn't aware. Also one of the hot tubs was not working and the floor in the spa was soaking wet. This did not affect my massage which was very good. The spa was clean and the robes and towels felt thick and soft. Our rooms was really nice quite modern, warm, crisp bedding fluffy towels but rubbish hairdryer!! Good food and excellent service from staff. A well organised break from Spaseekers that I would definitely recommend.
