Booking via SpaSeekers was very easy. We wanted a spa day, with at least 1 hour treatment plus food for under £100. We got it at Muthu Belstead hotel, at a bargain price of £77. The staff were helpful, polite and easy to talk to. The treatments were relaxing, not rushed and in lovely clean treatment rooms. The hotel is a little dated in its decor, with perhaps slightly garish design in places - but at least the facilities were there to be used and in good working order. Nice amount of guests present, didn't feel like they were over committed. They could do with a relaxation room and to change the slippers as they are a paper design which didn't really last the day. Take your own flip flops. Otherwise; bargain deal, pleasant staff and great treatments. 6/10 overall - the ratings would only let me give 5 stars in each category!!!
I recently spent a lovely long weekend at the Muthu Belstead Brook Hotel, thanks to a birthday treat from my children, and I didn’t want it to end. I loved the fact that it was such a relaxing place, I started to unwind as soon as I arrived and that was just what I needed. I seem to be forever on the go these days, but I managed to switch off totally for this little getaway. The receptionist asked me if I’d enjoyed myself and I told her straight away that I’d be back soon for more of the same. THAT’S how much I enjoyed it!
Lovely and quiet spa, nice food and comfy bed - very good value for money!
Wouldn’t recommend with kids, but perfect for girls or couple outing!
