Friendly and helpful staff. Spa was nice and clean. Dinner and breakfast was great. Great place all round and the grounds are lovely.
Booked this day for myself and a friend on holiday from Australia so wanted it to be a good experience and it was!
Changing rooms are clean and reasonably spacious.
Swimming pool was like getting into a warm bath (not to everyone's taste I know) although quite small and being half-term there were quite a few children!
We both had a back massage which was blissfully relaxing then sauna (steam room has been out of action for some time apparently).
Went up to the main hotel for lunch which was a 'bento box: which was actually very good - chicken, salad and dessert.
The hotel itself is in spectacular grounds with wonderful views across the countryside - I can see why it's a popular wedding venue.
Staff were friendly and helpful - all round an excellent experience.
Up - Really enjoyed our day. The treatments were amazing and so was afternoon tea so worth every penny. Downs - The leisure facilities are a little dated but still nice and although there are a lot of photos of Walton Hall, it’s in a separate building and not in the main building. Also the main entrance gate was locked on arrival so took a while to find another entrance which was a little bit of a challenge.
All in all though it was a lovely day, staff were really nice, the treatment facilities and therapists were the best. I had the best facial and massage I’ve ever had! I’d happily go back.
Fantastic Sunday deal- loved the hotel. Staff were very kind and helpful. Food exceeded all expectations and the room was also great. Super pool and setting. Absolutely recommend. Brilliant!
Very relaxing and enjoyable.
