My husband and I visited the Macdonald Randolph spa today for a birthday treat. The receptionist was very welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.
We used the facilities and although not a huge spa with swimming pool facilities, the area was still very relaxing and felt like we had it to ourselves. Before our treatments we went for Champagne and cream tea which was served in the drawing room, a very grand room which was extremely relaxing and decorated beautifully.
We were called in for our treatments which we both fully enjoyed, the therapists were professional and knowledgeable and ensured our expectations were met to high standards.
The whole experience was excellent, the spa was clean and offered all the extras from robes, slippers and Elemis toiletries to use at no extra cost.
We left feeling relaxed and sad the experience was over. Thanks again!
Just as described!
A group of us (6) went to the spa to celebrate a birthday, retirement and just have a nice day together.
Although the spa facilities were small it was ideal for our group as it felt very exclusive.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed.
The treatments were lovely and relaxing, we all had massages and facials.
Champagne was brought to us after out treatments, nothing was too much trouble, we asked for extra water and towels - all no problem at all.
I / We would say it was a really good experience, service was brilliant and we are thinking of going again in the near future.
Me and my mum arrived 2 hours before treatments and used the facilities such as the jacuzzi, we both absolutely loved it! We had a facial, full body massage, body exfoliation and a pedicure, all treatments were perfect! I Couldn't fault them. Therapists and receptionist we're welcoming and made us feel comfortable! Full of smiles and very polite! We were a bit annoyed that they double booked so we had to hang around for an hour in the 'relaxing room' which wasn't appealing to me at all, to wait for our pedicure and then we had to wait an extra hour for lunch, though we was given some complimentary sandwiches to tie us over. I would recommend that they get some normal tea bags and milk as not everybody likes mint tea and peppermint tea... Spa was clean and tidy, and everything was well worth the £170 each that we had paid. Would definitely return!!!! Happy girly and happy mother. Thanks for the experience...
I got offered the mini pamper day as a birthday present from my friend. It was the best spa experience in my life !
The staff is very nice and helpful, always trying to help you out and trying to make your day perfect. The day included the following Treatments:
• Back, neck & shoulder massage (30 minutes)
• Relaxing facial (30 minutes)
• Manicure or pedicure (file & polish) (30 minutes)
And also full access to the spa facilities and the gym.
The girl (Haylie) gave me some very clear and nice beauty advice/tips after the treatments. Really appreciated.
The day also included a 2 courses lunch at the hotel restaurant. The staff there was also extremely nice and the food was delicious (and you know ... I am French!)
I will definitely come back as soon as possible.
