We visited the Macdonald Old England for a relaxing pre-Christmas break and were not disappointed. Booking through SpaSeekers (for the first time) was smooth, problem-free and all questions and queries were answered as soon as they arose. Throughout our stay the hotel staff were so helpful and polite, our treatments, evening meal and breakfast lived up to expectation and the entire break was a real pleasure. The location was absolutely perfect and Bowness was such a delightful place but SpaSeekers and Macdonald were key to making our weekend so amazing.
Booked for my partners 50th Birthday celebrations. Excellent facilities, friendly, welcoming staff. Very well organized. Massage was brilliant. Afternoon tea was plentiful and the view over the lake was breath taking. Would recommend to family and friends.
We visited the spa on our 10th wedding anniversary prior to renewing our vows, we both had a back, shoulder and neck massage and a file and polish, followed by cream tea in the lounge overlooking Lake Windermere. The treatments were amazing with lovely therapists and the cream tea was delicious! Definitely worth the money!
Excellent spa day. Went with my daughter. Lovely quiet pool. Very clean. We both had deep-tissue massages and facials. The therapists were very thorough and knowledgeable. Cream tea on the terrace afterwards was also excellent. Very high standards of service throughout. Will book again.
It's quite hard to find fault with our spa day here. The standard of service was excellent in the spa, but especially in the lounge where we had afternoon tea. The treatments were excellent and the spa facilities very well maintained and clean. If I was going to nit pick the spa lounge, when lying back in the larger chairs the spotlights were directly in your eyes. I will definitely be back.
