There’s a very distinctive air of elegance about Hanbury Manor, and you become aware of it as soon as you notice the Jacobean-style frontage. On the outside, you’ll be impressed by the landscaped gardens and the picturesque golf course, while inside you’ll fall in love with the wood panelling, the fireplaces and the stylish furniture.
Located close to the town of Ware in Hertfordshire, Hanbury Manor is close enough to London for the convenience yet far enough away for the tranquillity. This is a retreat that you’ll want to visit time and time again, whether it’s for a day of decadence or an overnight journey of complete contentment.
The spa is home to seven treatment rooms, while there’s a superb gym on hand for the fitness fans. The 18-hole golf course was designed by the great Jack Nicklaus, but if you’d prefer to just wander round the 200 acres of countryside that’s fine, too. The hotel offers more than 160 exquisite rooms for unforgettable overnight breaks, and elegant dining awaits at the celebrated Oak Hall restaurant.

We had a lovely overnight spa break. The food was amazing, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spa treatments were brilliant. I felt amazing and had a lovely massage and facial. All the staff are so lovely and friendly. The facilities are great. Can’t wait to go back again!!
Everything about my spa day at Hanbury Manor was perfect. The staff are their greatest asset, they were polite, helpful, well informed and made me feel special. The facilities were spotless and there was everything needed to be able to relax. Lunch was first class and served by wonderful staff. I would definitely return.
Have just done the spa day with afternoon tea at Hanbury Manor and can highly recommend. Beautiful location and lovely building. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Enjoyed time in the gym, pools, sauna and Jacuzzi and a pleasant pampering treat of mini facial. Surroundings very peaceful and relaxing. Afternoon tea in wood panelled room with quality furnishings was also good. All facilities maintained to a high standard. Would have preferred tea at 5 rather than 4 to allow more time in the spa, but otherwise faultless.
