My sister and I had an over night stay booked with 2 treatments each at the spa, dinner on the first night, and breakfast and lunch on the next day. The spa was amazing, we both had facials and massages which were lovely and very relaxing. The steam room was great but the temp in the sauna felt a little too high. There is no cold or hot plunge pool but there is a Jacuzzi which is luke warm. Dinner was average, it took ages for the food to come and our basket of bread came AFTER all the hot starters. Food was really bland and hardly seasoned. The room was lovely, we had a twin room, with very comfy beds. On to breakfast the next day, very nice, lots of variety and buffet style. Lunch was ok, again same options as the dinner menu from the night before but we opted for the club sandwich and Ciabatta. Club sandwich was nice but there was more bread than filling. Smoked Salmon ciabatta was nice with fresh crisps that were lovely. Would come back for the spa and hotel but not the food.
My husband and I had a great day here at spa, the service and facilities are excellent and the building so beautiful!
My husband and I stayed on Friday night at Hanbury Manor. From the moment we checked in the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
We got a room in main house which was stunning, looked over the golf course at the back of the house. We arrived to a yummy plate of macaroons and chocolate brownies with a Happy Anniversary note. Such a lovely touch. We had a dinner, breakfast and lunch included in our deal. There were set menu's but for £10 per person you could order off the main menu in the evening. The food was lovely and the service was very attentive.
The spa area is gorgeous, staff extremely friendly. I had three treatments while there and being 23 weeks pregnant they went very gently on me, but you can ask them to increase the pressure. Treatment rooms very relaxing and facilities very clean and welcoming. Bed in the room very large and comfortable.
We would definitely stay again on a Spa Break. Highly recommend the hotel for a relaxing break away.
The hotel staff were amazing asking if I needed help (I have 1 arm) but I didn't need any help. But was good to know if I needed it I could. The spa was so beautiful, again amazing staff and treatments. The only downside was that I didn't get to go in the hot tub as it was taken by a group of ladies that didn't move out of it. But all together a very good day. Definitely would go back.
Really enjoyed the moment. Spa was very clean and the staff was nice.
I had shoulder, neck and back massage and facial by a lady called Claire who was very lovely.
My mum had her fingers and toe nails done which she loved and the lady was very lovely as well.
Would also like to say a thank you to a young lady called Brooke who works in the Cast Iron Restaurant who made my mum and I very welcome.
Thank you for a very comfortable and relaxing time .
