Booked a Spa day for my husbands birthday. We both had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly, service excellent, treatments very good. Will recommend to friends and family.

We had a lovely relaxing time at Grayshott Spa, the staff were friendly, food was great and the spa and treatments were just as good as we expected. Very happy with our break, we'll definitely return!
Just a spa hotel and what a wonderful place. Great service, clean, attention to detail and fully relaxed.
Definitely worth going to.
A friend and I booked a spa day to relax and unwind from our stressful lives and this place did exactly that. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and welcome. We did the flex and stretch class which was amazing, we had the most amazing face massage which was heavenly. We then spent time in the gym, pool, steam room and sauna. All very peaceful, clean, well stocked water and towels everywhere. We had a fab healthy three course lunch which was very fresh and tasty. Left feeling wonderful, would definitely recommend and hope to go again soon. Small negatives, pools tad chilly, spa is not near pool and would not be great for couple as male and female spas.
Lovgly food, beautiful peaceful setting...perfect!
As Director of SpaSeekers, I often have business meetings around the South Coast and whenever possible break my journey with a 1 night stay at Grayshott Spa. It didn’t fail to impress on this occasion, a nice greeting on arrival, and the same bedroom as previous added to my instant feeling of relaxation and comfort. I couldn’t get my towel robe on quick enough and downstairs for what Grayshott do best some R&P. A delicious evening meal washed down with a glass of my favourite Rioja and then ready for bed. An escape from my four kids and a once in a blue moon opportunity to actually wake up naturally rather than being jumped on at 6:30am. Can’t wait for my next visit to Grayshott.
Really good spa, helpful staff, excellent food, good relaxing atmosphere, rooms well furnished, good value for money
We had a warm welcome from the reception staff and we were shown round all of the public areas in a relaxed and unhurried way. Our de luxe room was fantastic , the beds were really comfortable.Dinner was really good. Breakfast was well received as we had been on the power walk at 8 am which built up an appetite, there was a large choice of hot and cold dishes. Lunch was fantastic, the table was groaning with healthy salads, there was an unusual savoury flapjack which was so good we asked for the recipe. The outside pool area was lovely and the pool was warm. Overall the place was wonderful, the staff were friendly and the treatments I had were first class.
I would recommend anyone who would want a relaxing and stress free environment to visit this place. The outdoor swimming pool is awesome, food was good. My best experience on any hotel visits.
A wonderful spa offering a truly relaxing experience. The treatments were of a fantastic quality, as was the food and the general surroundings. Highly recommended.
My Grayshott Spa stay! I purchased a '1 Night the Taste of Grayshott' for Valentines day to treat my girlfriend and I can honestly say we both had an amazing time! The staff were very friendly and helpful and made the stay very pleasant. The treatments were very relaxing and I thought quite fairly priced given their quality. One minor complaint, really is minor as well, if you have quite a large appetite make sure to fill up at the breakfast and lunch buffets as the 3 course dinner portions are rather small. Still the food is very nice and well presented. Overall we both had a fantastic stay, the rooms are cosy, beds are very comfortable and the service was excellent! Two thumbs up!
Fantastic weekend - lovely treatments, relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious, healthy food! (Do bring your own stash of chocolate if you've got a sweet tooth, though...)
Staff were excellent - incredibly polite and helpful. Room felt luxurious. Food excellent. Only negative was that whilst our complimentary treatment was booked in for us, we hadn't pre-booked any extra treatment and there was no availability so we were disappointed not to utilise what we had gone there for. Just not enough time there!
This is my second visit to Grayshott and both have been very enjoyable. The staff helpful and friendly and considering it was freezing outside it was warm enough to wander about in Dressing Gown and Slippers. Everything was clean and orderly and the food was FANTASTIC. Having been to other spa's Grayshott shines through every time.
Beautifully elegant place to spend a few days relaxing. Very helpful staff, very relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful, but very healthy, food!Highly recommended.
A wonderful 24 hours, the staff are just fantastic, they work really hard but are true ambassadors for Grayshott. The facilities are plentiful and well maintained, the dining room is perhaps a bit small but that is not the focus for the visit. There are plenty of spa treatments to choose from and the ones we had were very professionally performed. Spa/gym staff are knowledgeable and pleasant without being too pushy, back of house staff are lovely and one lady looking after the sauna/steam room area was so incredibly helpful and happy. The food was superb, the additional features such as the talk on emotional detox made for a more enjoyable overall experience. The grounds are divine, my only criticism would be the decor can be a bit bland in some areas! Overall? 99.9% I'll definitely be back!
I visited Grayshott with my daughter for 3 nights and it was the best holiday we have ever had. The room was lovely and we opted for a patio which meant French windows to the patio and then the lawn with the out door heated pool a hundred yards away. We wandered around in our robes for 4 blissful days and had excellent treatments and took part in various exercise classes etc. The food was divine and I ate more than I have eaten in 4 years (since losing 5 stone) and had 3 courses some of the time and did not put on any weight. It was all so healthy and lovely. I would be quite happy to go there on my own if my daughter was not available and I am going to make it a regular habit as I have come back feeling better than I would have done having had a 2 week holiday. I think it is fantastic value for money and would highly recommend it.
Great weekend spa experience. Never previously visited a spa or had treatments of this nature. Very impressed. Felt very decadent! Staff quality was exceptional which justified the price of staying and also the treatments themselves. Only point to make was that if you are not trying to lose weight, the dinner portions are very small. Men in particular would go to bed very hungry I think!
This spa backs onto a national park, which is perfect for long walks if you want to clear you head. Alternatively you can join one of the scheduled walks with a member of staff & other guests. The food is excellent, breaking the myth that healthy food should be tasteless. I specifically had only massage treatments so can not comment any of the others, but I can say that the massages were carried out by very well trained staff. One tip though is to book early especially if you are going over a weekend period, as I was unable to book the de-stress package I wanted due to over demand. (Although the spa did offer an a la carte package that I amended to fit my needs).
Our stay at Grayshott was a complete luxury and pleasure. The room was large and luxurious, the food was outstanding and the staff were friendly and courteous. I have been to other spas but this was easily the best. Totally enjoyable and totally recommended. We’ll be going again.
Massages were excellent, as were facilities and service in general.
High standards throughout. Spoiled by the lack of English of some of the foreign staff. Pleasant rural location. Friendly but expensive.
This was the first time I had stayed overnight at a spa, and my first time at Grayshott. The whole experience was fantastic, from the politeness and helpfulness of the staff, to the quality of my room and cleanliness of the spa facilities. Everything is well thought through yet unobtrusive. I'd heartily recommend it.
Superb break, everything about Grayshott was fantastic from the moment I arrived. Most helpful staff, relaxing treatments, lovely grounds. Thanks to Spaseekers for making the booking process so simple.
Over the door it says Pax Intrantibus - peace on entering. And it is. The service is good and hushed tones prevail. Its a health and wellbeing spa, not so much health and beauty. Treatments good if a little pricey. Room very adequate. Not luxury but clean and comfortable. Only issue for me was lack of any phone signal and very intermittent WiFi. Ok it's a place to forget those things but sometimes life and home requirements makes them essential. I'd go again.
Lovely setting and the walk around the grounds was a real benefit. The treatment itself was great just as described with a very good therapist. Would have liked to stay longer than just one day!
All very well run, lots of helpful staff and a lovely pleasant atmosphere. We would have appreciated the additional offers of:Coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Calorie count on all meal, Somewhere to buy 'snacks'/afternoon cake etc. Evening 'talks' on beauty subjects Would also recommend that clients bring their own DVDs - totally nothing to do in the evenings.
The staff are incredibly attentive and helpful. There is a serenity and peacefulness that permeates every aspect of your stay, you will be speaking in whispers long after you leave. The spa treatments are varied and excellent. The gym is excellent. The grounds are beautiful. The cleanliness is of the highest standard. The food is very good but the portions really are a la carte and I left dinner still feeling a little hungry and the food sometimes wasn't very hot. The spa areas are very good also. I guess my only criticism, and I use the word reluctantly, was that the actual facilities in the spa area; the swimming pool was small and the steam room and Jacuzzi are single sex, which may suit some, but as a couple my wife wanted to enjoy these experiences together. There was also a limited choice of water options i.e. Jacuzzi’s, alternate pools etc. Overall, extremely relaxing time.
A haven of calm - the perfect place to relax and escape the noise and pressures of everyday life. From the moment we arrived, and throughout our visit, the staff maintained a friendly and efficient professionalism - the welcome and service was first class. We were shown to our very comfortable, well equipped room and immediately felt at peace with the world as we walked out of our patio doors to sit on the loungers looking out across the extensive, well-kept grounds. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all achieved that perfect balance of delicious food that is both well planned and nutritious. Complimentary fruit, coffee and a selection of teas etc. were always available and we very much enjoyed the canapés and fruit punch served before dinner in the elegant bar. Both my husband and I enjoyed using a range of spa facilities – most memorable was the swim in the very warm outdoor pool on a crisp autumn day surrounded by the beautiful English countryside. We both chose to have a classic massage – very relaxing and leaving us with a sense of well-being. The staff in the ladies’ spa went out of their way to ensure I was well looked after, offering iced flannels in the sauna and cold eye pads in the relaxation room. Back in my room, relaxing with a good book, my husband took the opportunity to escape to the gym and the golf course for a few hours. The whole experience was one of comfort, calm and relaxation and we are both looking forward to returning in the not too distant future.
Such a relaxing day. I didn't want to leave.
I had a thoroughly enjoyable 2 night break at Grayshott. Staff and service were excellent in all areas and overall the facilities were very clean. Being really picky, there is one communal waiting area by the Spa shop that could do with a refurbishment. Food was excellent. The evening meal was a bit nouvelle cuisine, but this didn't really matter because the breakfast and lunch buffets are more than enough. They manage to cater for a mixture of people, some on special diets and others who just enjoy good food. In comparison to a nearby famous chained spa beginning with C, Grayshott beats this by far and I would definitely go back there.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother for them. The main house is stunning and well kept as were the gardens and it was only a short walk through them to be able to get to the nature reserve for longer walks. I was surprised the food was so nice and they catered for my food allergies which I have to say was unexpected. The rooms were pleasant and clean though in places could have done with a clean coat of paint. The range of treatments was good. The unfortunate thing was that we were not able to get the ones we wanted despite requesting them a few days before our weekend. This may have been due to staff sickness though. Cant wait to save up to return again though!
Has a lovely time. Only bad points were the treatments were booked up and we could not have what we wanted despite requesting a few days before and the room could have done with a new coat of paint on the windows. The food was lovely and caterered for my allergies which was suprising but much appreciated. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. Now planning my return trip!
The stand out thing about Grayshott Hall is quite simply the superb quality of the treatments and the therapists. The therapists have all been working at the spa for several years (sometimes longer) and this seems to be reflected in their care and attention to detail in the treatments they provide. In some spas you can sometimes feel like you are on a conveyor belt and the therapists are going though the motions but this is absolutely not the case at Grayshott. I would recommend this beautiful spa to anyone looking for peace and relaxation with top notch treatments and also excellent food which manages to be both healthy and delicious.
My friend and I enjoyed a lovely weekend at Grayshott. It was very relaxing and was a great chance to recharge the batteries. We were able to use the facilities from 11am on the day we arrived until 5pm on the day we left; the treatments were lovely - the hot stone massage was amazing; the facilities were great and didn't get busy adding to the relaxation; you can simply walk round in your robe all day. We would definitely go back. On the less perfect side: the food is very healthy, which is great at lunch as the buffet is sizeable, but at dinner the portions aren't enormous; and the standard bedrooms are very standard, so if you wanted luxury you'd have to upgrade.
Wonderful spa. Only down side is limited pools and no jacuzzi.
Great place, food was amazing staff were very friendly and location was perfect. So relaxing. The only part that let it down treatments were very booked out! :-(No mixed sauna/steam room) which is a real shame when your away for a special occasion with your partner. Sometimes its nice to share these experiences. Thanks overall though great place.
Had a lovely relaxing time, however , slightly ruined by the fact that I had such bad back ache following sleeping on the very soft mattress in the room with a very flat pillow. Everything else, however was perfect, and the staff very attentive.
Place, room, staff, facilities, wonderful. Food (so pleased to see help yourself breakfast starving from night before) food looked lovely and tasted lovely, but sparse and healthy. (sorry may be me I like my food) take a packet of biscuits to have with your tea. My friend was very happy with her 3 treatments, 2 of mine were cancelled due to staff out sick. Yes I would go again complete with a bar of chocolate.
It was the first time I had ever been to a spa. As a novice we did not realise the importance of booking treatments in advance so unfortunately were only able to have the massage that came with the package. I wish that this had been made clearer when I originally booked. Also we had no idea that as over night spa guests we could have arrived at 10.00am and stayed the following day until 6. Again this was not made clear at time of booking. The food was lovely and I enjoyed all 3 meals very much. We felt the room we were in was very comfortable and clean although bathroom was a little tired looking. As were the corridors. Pools and sauna were great. Staff super helpful and friendly. All in all we had a great time and have learnt a lot for next time. I would like to try another spa.
A lovely retreat an hour out of London, Grayshott was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend of indulgence. A beautiful house, modern tasteful rooms, fantastic food, top-notch gym equipment and classes, very experienced treatment staff and complete silence made it a blissful escape. My only comment was the spa facilities e.g. Sauna etc were not as up-to-date as I expected and the arrival introduction wasn't very thorough. However it may have been it was just a busy day as the spa assistants the following day were extremely helpful. A luxurious life-saver for those that need to get out of London and highly recommended!
An absolutely wonderful day in beautiful surroundings with excellent facilities. Felt very relaxed and energised at the same time at the end of the day.
The quality was higher than anticipated. Very good reception, professional, food as good as before. Will return.
Grayshott Spa looks beautiful from the outside as the main building is an old manor house. Inside, the bedrooms and Spa area are in a more modern 'wing' that looks like it was added on in the 1980's. The treatments we booked were carried out very efficiently and the young staff members were very friendly and helpful. Food was good with controlled portion sizes and no 'bad' food to tempt you off the straight and narrow. One area that could be better was the checking in and reception. We had never been to Grayshott before and once we had checked in we were left to wander around like a pair of lemons wondering what to do and where to go. Eventually we asked someone at reception to help us and they did find a member of staff to give us a quick run through of the facilities. This should be mandatory for all new visitors surely? Overall a reasonable experience, if a little expensive.
I have visited a few spas over the last couple of years and this was the most expensive and the most disaapointing. Whilst we were there to relax and treat ourselves the spa assumes that everybody is there to detox. You can't get any alcohol apart from wine and champagne and you can't even enjoy tea and coffee at the end of your meal. The resturant made it clear that we were not welcome after 9 o'clock and 5 minutes after we left they turned the lights out. The room was no better than a premier inn standard and the shower had very little power which made washing your hair very difficult. there's no kettle in the room so forget a nice relaxing cup of tea in the morning as well. Beware if it bothers you that there are male therapists and they don't advise you of this when you arrive. If you want to detox its probably a great place, but if you want to relax and treat yourself don't go!
I had high expectations as this spa has always been rated well. First impressions were very good- however the service was not up to scratch. We booked a twin but got a double- we tried calling reception to tell them but there was no answer. Eventually I went back to reception where they told us to wait in our room. This wasted about an hour of our time before they sorted the room out- and added stress to the start of our trip. Also they got our bill wrong when we left. The faciltites were nice but it was strange that the pool was so far from the rest of the spa facilities. The pool was also too cold to swim in. The toilets in the spa area didn't flush properly, not very pleasant! Our inclusive treatment was OK- nothing special though.Food was great and probably the highlight. All in all I've been to better spas.
A truly magnificent idyll that’s tucked away amid 47 acres of dramatic Surrey countryside, Grayshott Health Spa deserves to be on everyone’s must-visit list. Getting away from it all has surely never been so enjoyable or so rewarding.
With all the little luxuries you need for a relaxing break and a location that’s pleasingly close to London, this is an understandably popular retreat. For both delightful days and stunning stays, this is a place that has it all.
