Great staff friendly and helpful. Great treatments, facilities and food highly recommend a spa package with a nights stay
Really loved our time here. Checking in was easy, food was delicious. The spa could do with a bit more but we still had an amazing time :) , Abbie from the Lilac Room did an amazing job at the massage she gave me, was so good I nearly fell asleep! Perfect :) Already looking for dates to come back in the summer for a spa weekend.
Very friendly and quick check in with appropriate info.
Room perfect, clean and fresh.
Spa - again very friendly, good introduction and treatment well explained at start. Lovely team.
Treatments - had 2, were fabulous and left me feeling extremely relaxed.
Lunch and dinner - staff, service and food could not fault.
Didn't get time to walk in grounds but looked very inviting.
Would I go again - in a heart beat 👍
The booking was quick and easy. We were very happy with the price. The hotel was lovely and staff very helpful and friendly. The pool area was nice. The breakfast and lunch were lovely.
The down side was the meal in the evening. The spa break included dinner but the hotel told us there was a limit of £57. We would have been happy to pay more to have something a bit more special but were very disappointed that there was hardly anything on the menu that we didn't have to pay extra for. Everything was over priced. Pate starter was £10. It was a tiny portion and had no taste. Our main meal was steak which was nice but again not worth £30 each. The only thing we could have chosen off the menu that would have been within the included price was soup and fish pie but no dessert. Our meal which was 2 courses with a bottle of wine came to £112. The bar food was much nicer at lunch time. This did not spoil our experience as everything else was great. The massage was really good.
This was a gift from a friend - We arrived at the Hotel (Only an hour away!) Staff all very helpful, polite and welcoming. The surroundings a delight, the hotel superb. The spa ladies also very welcoming, had a wonderful 'Back to Business' Massage very relaxing, after plenty of water went for a swim, steam and sauna and another relax in the spa pool overall a wonderful experience which will definitely be repeated. Able to continue using the facilities after check out which lengthens your experience taking in a walk, lunch and a few drinks in the bar area before returning home completely relaxed and refreshed.
