Fabulous place everything perfect!
Visited last night, lovely receptionist very friendly and helpful.Over all it was OK but things needed a little improvement. I was looking forward to using the hydro pool but that's only used as part of a treatment. So it was a bit of a shame we couldn't use that. Steam room out of use so we were limited what we could do. Used pool Jacuzzi and sauna didn't really have the spa wow factor for a high end spa. We did a aqua class and he was brilliant really good and got us working hard he was friendly and certainly worth doing a class. I was glad we did a class.
A modern but beautiful spa set in the countryside.
Springs is a very welcome break with friendly staff and excellent choice of food.
All our treatments were first class and the girls very professional.
We will definitely be booking in again this year!
We went on a one night Sunday spa break at Champneys, inclusive of 1 treatment, 3 meals and full use of the facilities.
The booking process with SpaSeekers was good, all went swimmingly and correspondence was good. Emails included full details of what to do and how to contact Champneys direct to book treatments etc.
Actual stay at Champneys could not be faulted - it was perfect in every way. Room was excellent, all spa facilities were luxurious, well-maintained and available when we wanted them. The whole venue is so spacious you never feel like you are in a crowded environment. The food was very good and the treatments were fantastic. The staff were lovely and helpful. Most of all the whole place is absolutely beautiful and a pleasure to relax in.
We fell in love with Champneys and will definitely be going again! We would certainly look at booking through SpaSeekers again as well assuming there was a similarly good offer on when we do.
Easy to book. Great spa with friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely relaxing treatment included in package. Delicious lunch!
From the moment we were greeted by a friendly receptionist, to the moment we left, the whole day was sheer pleasure. It was easy to book online, a little more difficult to find the venue-the sat nav took us along a country lane to a farm! The staff showing us round were really helpful and the venue lived up to expectations being clean and luxurious. I was extremely pleased with the treatment included and felt relaxed and de-stressed afterwards. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. We booked a further day and two night stays before we left.
Champneys is a fantastic, clean relaxing place to be with plenty of choice of classes or gym or just doing nothing! The healthy meals are excellent. i would live there!!
Champneys Springs from the minute you walk in is a very warm and welcoming place. It has a very relaxing environment - no standing on ceremony. The majority of staff have been there for years and remember everyone so you instantly feel part of it. Whether you are there to lose weight (though I struggled with this as the food is fresh and tasty and to such a high standard, I particularly love lunch and the chef cooking on the restaurant floor for you)exercising - huge range of classes that start each day at 7am with aqua aerobics(yes I made it to all 6of these)or pampered with a huge array of treatments (I had 6 different therapist in a week and I would have them all again and my back had no knots in it when they had finished) you will do all of these and relax so much that yes by the end you will fall asleep on the couches in the afternoon like the rest of them. I would highly recommend.
The whole day was relaxing. The treatments were the best I've experienced (in 25 years!) The staff made me feel like an individual, although it wasn't a particularly quiet day at the spa. The best I've ever visited.
Had a lovely, relaxing day with my mum. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the Spa itself was excellent and very clean and fresh. Staff particularly helpful in the cafe, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend to anyone.
A lovely place for a relaxing treat. The treatments were great, especially the Beautiful Bump treatment - I was 35 weeks pregnant and it was bliss - I'd definitely recommend it. The food was lovely and the whole place was very relaxing. I'd recommend paying a little more for one of the better bedrooms if you plan on spending much time in the room, the basic rooms were fine but not a treat, where as the superior rooms were much nicer.
My daughter and I arrived for our 2 day break, the reception staff were very welcoming and did all they could to facilitate a great stay. The treatments , well being programme and accommodation were absolutely fabulous. My daughter left a piece of jewellery behind in a locker. housekeeping found it and it was posted direct to my daughter by registered post. all in all a great stay can't wait to go back
I visited Champneys Springs for the first time as a 40th birthday treat. Working full time in education and having 5 children means me time is virtually non existent. I was really looking forward to the day and I was not disappointed. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The surroundings were clean and spacious and the treatments were heaven. I went there feeling stressed and tired and left peaceful, happy and exhilarated, cannot say what I liked best. The whole day was delightful and I have made a conscience effort to repeat it! A big thank you to all the staff there for making my special day a wonderful one!
Friendly, helpful staff and great facilities combine to make this a totally enjoyable experience. I thought it well worth the money compared to some spas I've attended, who have charged similar amounts for a much inferior service. I would also say that the other clients at the spa also contributed towards a fabulous day.
We really enjoyed it; we were totally chilled out when we came away. It was very clean and the treatments I had were brilliant, can’t wait to go again.
This was the first time I have ever been to a spa day, I really didn't know what to expect. When I arrived I was welcomed and given a tour along with a full explanation of everything there was on offer. I must admit at first I was a little intimidated, but all the staff were so helpful and friendly that I relaxed in to it very quickly. I already have recommended Champneys Springs to some of my friends and I would definitely go again. A tip for any one new to this is, if you have booked a package like a top to toe day, request a copy of the times of the treatments you’re booked in for. If you want to change them it is easer to do this before the day. Mind you I went on a busy Sunday, so it probably wouldn't be a problem at other times of the week.
Excellent as always; the restaurant staff are second to none and the treatments are always fantastic.
The Springs spa was an excellent experience, we found it to be very well run with very helpful staff. The place was very clean and the food was excellent, we had great value for what we paid and would most certainly book with SpaSeekers again.
A most relaxing experience, absolutely wonderful; would recommend this to anyone. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Food and facilities are top class, hope to visit again soon.
Spent 1 night here with a friend, both of us are busy mums of 2 so definitely in need of a rest! We had the most wonderful time...doing nothing but relaxing and enjoying every part of Champneys spa from the atmosphere, very friendly and polite staff, treatments, food, pool...just heaven. Cannot wait to do it again!!
This was my 11th annual visit to Champneys Springs! I have an annual break with friends; each year someone suggests we try another spa resort, we all agreed that should Springs not live up to its high standards at any time, that is when we will change our annual resort. Well done Springs, because so far we have not changed! It would be unfair to say that everything is perfect for every one minute of the day, however, if/when anything goes wrong the staff are superb at putting things right and always exceed our expectations; whether that is complimentary wine at dinner or a room upgrade. The resort is clean, warm, spacious and relaxed. Treatments are varied as are classes available, there really is something for everyone from the most energetic to the laziest! Food is plentiful and varied. We will definitely be back for our 12th year in 2011.
You are always made to feel welcome, nothing is too much trouble. The therapists are excellent. From the minute you arrive it is like being in another world. The calm and relaxing atmosphere is a great tonic.
Yet another wonderful break at Springs. Food excellent and plentiful, accommodation excellent and very comfortable, staff excellent and so helpful, nothing too much trouble. Treatments excellent and worth every penny, can't wait until next year!
I went to Champneys this week for a 2 night, 3 day break, with five treatments included in my package deal. My room was lovely; overlooking their beautiful lake with a swan and ducks floating about, and with the trees just getting their winter colours it was like a picture postcard. Started my time there nicely, the food is wonderful, fresh, made on the premises. The staff are happy and you get the feeling of being among a family. Many of the staff have been there years, but the young ones are very good, well trained and love their work. Everywhere is immaculate and all the staff are very helpful. The activities are various and well organised. The 25 metre pool is just heaven to swim in. I regularly go to Springs at least once a year but this was the best yet. I just wish I could go there more often!!!! Thank you SpaSeekers for arranging my visit this time.
I went for a 1 night spa break to Champneys with my friend. We really loved it from the first minute we entered the spa. We were explained everything we asked, were shown all facilities and the lady even took us over to our room!!!! We had lunch on our arrival and departure days. The food was absolutely delicious and very healthy. The service was very good and all staff friendly and helpful. We spent quite a bit of time in the swimming pool, which was very spacious and nicely done. It has magnificent views and some of them you can see straight from the sauna. It's nice that you can walk all day in the dressing gowns; you can get even more relaxed. Overall, we had very nice time and relaxed really well. Would go there again and again...
I spent a week here and had a really good time, as a guest you can borrow some of the products from the Champneys counter after 17:30 until 09:00 the next day to try them out. The food was good and the staff were very welcoming.
We all enjoyed our day. Massage and facials were very good. My appointment with the hairdresser was excellent. Best haircut I’ve had for a very long time. It was the icing on the cake.
Lovely friendly place, staff are all very helpful. Rooms are nice, clean and well stocked. The spa is very nice, and again, staff are amazing; would come back whenever I could afford it.
I had a wonderful day at Champneys.I enjoyed the mix of having different treatments booked in and then just doing things at your leisure. The staff were first class, very friendly and approachable and nothing was too much trouble.Fantastic facilities as well.I also felt very comfortable there even though I went by myself.Would highly recommend it but next time I will have a longer stay!.
Champneys Springs is an oasis in this busy world. From the moment of arrival you are made to feel special and important. The accommodation lacks nothing from the comfortable beds, to power showers and free mini toiletries. The sofas in the lounges cocoon you to relax in and maybe to snooze! The restaurant serves mouth watering healthy food in plenty, and the coffee shop serves wonderful smoothies! The grounds are laid out to stroll around, with ponds for all the wildlife that live here, from ducklings to coots, to swans. The stairway to heaven as I call it leads up to the treatment rooms where the wonderful girls weave their own distinct magic to de-stress you with massages, wraps, floats and facials. The finishing touches of manicures, pedicures and hairdressing salon are second to none. The gym, swimming pool and sauna, Jacuzzi and steam rooms are a good place to start your day. PURE HEAVEN!
Really enjoyed the day although the swimming pool area was quite cool. Staff were very friendly and the lunch was lovely.
No complaints, have been to Springs about 8-9 times and it was as good as ever. First time booking with SpaSeekers; very well organised and I appreciated the upgrade. Food was not as good as usual (not so much choice) but, overall, not a bad comment to make.
On arrival at the spa everyone was so helpful and friendly. The spa and accommodation was excellent. All meals served were of a top quality and very enjoyable with plenty to choose from. We would most definitely return to Champneys Springs again.
Fabulous, fit and forty (well forty something!) sums up how four of us felt after a relaxing, yet sometimes energetic weekend away from work and family. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Treatments were very relaxing and the workout classes’ great fun. Great light and airy swimming pool; not crowded. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well kitted out. Food delicious, if we had a mind to we could all have easily put on a few pounds. We definitely intend to make it a yearly getaway!!
At first I was apprehensive, being a single visit, but the friendly reception and clear information settled me in. The purpose of my visit was to de-stress, this I achieved with ease only choosing treatments that would pamper. The facilities were excellent and staff members very helpful, the treatments from what I can remember were very relaxing (I fell asleep on most!!). My only very minor complaint, after one treatment, I was advised not to sit for about 1/2 hour due to the oils/cream/seaweed etc. soaking into my hip/thigh area. I decided to have a coffee, only I could not find anywhere at standing level to rest my cup, a small bar area within the cafe for standing clients (I couldn't have been the only one) would have been great. Already looking forward to my next visit.
First time I have ever been to a spa (my wife has been loads). The place was so easy to find, just off a main road. Once inside it was really nice to relax with my wife, food was very good, only used the swimming pool and gym; both good, pool clean too, shower room was ideal with free towels and sauna, plus a steam room. The room was clean and tidy but only had two single beds, we could have had an upgrade but it was ok for one night. Staff were really nice people, can’t wait to try again sometime soon.
Invigorating, relaxing and a million miles from STRESS! ;-)
My first visit to a spa was a treat booked by my daughter. The facilities are very good, the location very accessible and the food delicious. The only problem was trying to fit everything into the time. I'll be dropping very heavy hints to my daughter that an extended return visit is required.
Very relaxing experience in warm comfortable surroundings, the staff were welcoming and very helpful at all times. I would definitely return to enjoy another visit!
We were given a very warm welcome to the spa, shown round the facilities and given refreshments. The whole day was organised very well, the treatments were well spaced out so we were able to enjoy the rest of the spa facilities. The lunch was extremely good and there were refreshments throughout the day. I would recommend Champneys Springs to anyone who wants to have a relaxing day. It was worth every penny. Thank you.
Fantastic 3 days, the staff were friendly, helpful and very respectful of peoples needs. The facilities were clean and the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. The food was of a high standard, well presented and plenty of variety. The treatments were carried out to a very high and professional standard. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and you were made to feel very welcome.
I've been visiting Springs for long weekends once or twice a year for about 17 years now and still love it as much as the first visit! I return home feeling chilled and stress free ready to take on the world (and kids) all over again! I hope to carry on visiting for many more years! The therapists are fabulous and all the staff very friendly and helpful. The food is wonderful; healthy but very, very tasty. Everything you need! Keep up the fantastic work!!!!
It was a fantastic day from start to finish, would definitely revisit. The treatments were excellent, the staff really friendly; made you feel good about yourself. The only negative was the hot chocolate in the small cafe not very nice, not sure the girl new what she was doing.
Visited Champneys Springs Health Farm with my daughter, we both really enjoyed our day visit; the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. If there was one negative it was only that we both found it a bit chilly in our dressing gowns sitting in the central area of the building.
My boyfriend and I visited for three days of bliss!! I was given a mini break voucher by my boyfriend for my birthday, the best birthday present ever!! I'd never been to a spa before and would go again tomorrow. Champneys Springs is amazing; the pool is fantastic and huge! The spa is also amazing, but even though the complex is big, you did feel welcomed and have a personnel treatment from the staff. The exercise classes were of an excellent quality and the instructors were all very thorough and of a high standard. The food was amazing, all healthy but scrummy! The facilities were clean and well kept, my only regret is that I didn't do more classes or get to stay longer!! Highly recommended.
I arrived stressed and not sure that I was in a state to relax and ‘do nothing’ all day, but shortly after arriving in such tranquil surroundings and being met and given my programme for the day I was fine.
Once again, my friends and I spent a luxurious, restful weekend being pampered at Springs. The classes were great fun, especially the hoola hoop class, the treatments were very professionally done and the food was delicious. We come back year after year as we've never found anywhere to compare with Springs for value and luxury.
This was a birthday present for my wife. When we arrived I helped her with the things she had bought with her and went with her to the reception, it was then that I found that she had found my secret and had booked me to spend a day with her. During late morning my wife wasn't feeling well and the help that we received from the staff was absolutely marvellous. Several of the staff came to help, bringing her drinks and offering her the choice of going to stay in a quiet room. I can't thank the staff enough for what they did. After a sweet drink, being a diabetic, she was able to resume her stay and really enjoyed the massage that she had later. The manager also booked a head and shoulder massage session for me later in the afternoon, and it was an experience which has stayed with me. We must come again very soon, and many thanks SpaSeekers for arranging our lovely day.
I treated my two sisters for a 1 night stay which included one treatment, it was a new experience for both and they both had a great time, one sister was worried about the food, she thought she may starve, but she was so impressed with the selection and size of portions. They loved the spa facilities and the treatments and they can’t wait to go back for more, thanks for your recommendations SpaSeekers.
Excellent day out, the food was fantastic, very relaxing. Tea/Coffee could be free though, a bit expensive. SpaSeekers were very efficient.
There is something utterly enchanting about Champneys Springs, making it a retreat that just has to be explored. Located in the heart of lovely Leicestershire countryside and with views to sigh for, it’s as relaxing as it gets.
A day or several days spent here will recharge your batteries in the most exquisite way. With facilities that offer all you need for an unforgettable experience, this place should be on everyone’s wish-list.
