History buffs will love many of the local landmarks, including Glamis Castle, Arbroath Abbey and Broughty Castle and Museum. Long, sedate walks along the coastline are a must for those seeking dramatic views.
The exquisite Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa is a must-visit, especially if you’re looking for an overnight journey of bliss. We thoroughly enjoyed our day at the spa. The back massages we received were amazing, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful, and the facilities clean. We would thoroughly recommend, and hope to repeat the experience.

Along with my sister and 2 daughters we had a fantastic, relaxing day. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the spa treatments were excellent. Facilities are very clean. Food was lovely, we had a light lunch before enjoying our tea and cakes. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was there were no ‘cream’ cakes or scones for our Cream Tea, although the cakes provided were nice.

Spent the afternoon with a friend on a lunch spa experience. Staff were welcoming from the check in at reception through to waiting staff in the restaurant. Facilities were clean & tidy & well stocked with towels despite us arriving when it was reasonably busy. Spa treatments were excellent, staff were friendly and professional and left us feeling pampered. Bento lunch boxes were plentiful and very good quality.
Would be happy to recommend, and will return again.

Had a really lovely overnight Spa Break with my daughter. Was easily and efficiently arranged via SpaSeekers.
Lovely comfortable welcoming hotel and spa-not intrusive. Enjoyed our treatments and wished had arranged longer appointments. Leisure facilities, particularly pool area very good-gym a bit compact.
We had a really lovely dinner and breakfast in hotel restaurant and a relaxing drink sitting in the very comfortable bar lounge area.
Already planning a return and extended Spa break again.
