What can I say about Lamphey Court? I wanted to find a bit of peace and quiet when I made the booking, and I certainly wasn't disappointed! This place is really tranquil and it was ideal for me to relax in from the moment I first got there. The food was good and the spa was lovely, but I think I enjoyed walking around the grounds as much as anything else. I'm told the local beaches are really nice but to be honest I didn't want to go far from the hotel so I didn't do a lot of exploring. -
First of all, the building itself and location is stunning. Lovely view.
On arriving at the spa, the lady behind the desk told us we were welcome to use the swimming pool and saunas, that we had lunch at 12.30 and our treatments were starting at 1.30. They had ran out of slippers so we had to change into our swim wear, use the pool and sauna, dry and change for lunch then get back into our wet swimming costumes for our treatments. This was because they had no slippers and we didn't fancy wearing our chunky leather boots with our robes, so it wasn't very relaxing, it felt quite rushed and crammed for myself and my friend. However the food was absolutely gorgeous which put a smile back on our faces. We had the vegetable stir fry which was amazing and the brownie and ice cream for desert. best food I'd had out in months, that's the truth! As for the massage afterwards, that was lovely too. The massage therapist was very professional, informative and gave an amazing massage! Thank you.
