I have been visiting Charlton House for many years with a friend. The hotel has been refurbished by the new owners and is looking good. Beautiful new upholstery and curtains in our room. Thank you for the upgrade as we were unable to make the stairs this stay, Our treatments were both lovely and we got a discount as I was not able to have the Lava Shell this time due to staff sickness. Our only issue was that we ordered a starter - crispy beef and when it came it was pork not beef and definitely not crispy. We did eat some of it but feedback to the waiter that we were not happy but had no apology from the chef or explanation. Apart from this another fantastic stay.

Charlton House is a gorgeous house with very friendly and welcoming staff. Aaron checked us in and was a point of contact all weekend he was extremely helpful and very easy to talk to. The spa was lovely, clean, quiet and relaxing. Booking additional treatments was easy and definitely worth it. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We will definitely be returning.

I was given this as a gift for my birthday. My friend Jo and I arrived to very friendly reception staff showing us the way to the spa. Receiving our robes and locker key, we were shown the area and how to use the lockers. It was very quiet which gave us time to explore all the areas relatively undisturbed, adding to the stress free environment. We had lunch booked for 12:30pm and chose to remain in our robes and go to the Bistro. Service was great - thank you Crystal, and both our salads delicious. The fries also need a shout out!!! Treatments followed and my shoulder and back massage/head and neck was amazing - thank you Liberty. We left totally relaxed and recharged. A perfect day plus was able to catch up with my friend. Would definitely recommend the spa and look forward to my next visit.

The spa had definitely improved since august they have done some much needed repairs. The spa was well worth the money spent. I had the best body scrub from new therapist Ann- Marie. I would definitely ask for her again on my next visit which will be very soon.
