To start with we were upgraded so many thanks to SpaSeekers for sorting that out, if you did :)
We had a great time at Armathwaite Hall, the spa is lovely and the whole surroundings were beautiful.
Overall very happy with the package we received, the service from both SpaSeekers and the venue.
Armathwaite Hall is in a breathtaking setting, the outdoor hot tub was amazing surrounded by the beautiful grounds. Staff were lovely, the 60 minutes massage was fantastic and the 2 course lunch was delicious (although not enough for my appetite, I could have eaten 3). The whole day was very relaxed and informal. The spa is spotlessly clean. I loved the Hush Room with the lovely day beds, perfect for a snooze after lunch!. I will definitely be returning, perfect!.
From the moment we arrived to when we left, we were made to feel special and important, not just one of many guests. The facilities are superb and perfectly clean, the room, whilst a little small, was excellently appointed and fabulously comfortable. The bar is quintessentially British with its log fire and comfortable chairs...the restaurant is unstuffy, friendly and leaves you with a taste that needs to be lingered over coffee and a brandy in the drawing room...all in all far too short a visit, we will be returning in the very near future to enjoy all the delights this location has to offer.
We had a fantastic day being pampered and the staff were extremely helpfull in everything they did, giving expert advice on all products etc.We could have stopped all week!!!!
