I took a day off recently and decided to treat myself to some pampering at Ardencote. I had such a fabulous time, and the only regret I have is that I didn’t book an overnight stay. Next time I go it will definitely be for a long weekend. Ardencote is a really special place, it’s luxurious and welcoming and I was able to relax as soon as I arrived. The people are very friendly, in the reception, the spa and the restaurant as well. I’m already planning a return visit, but it definitely won’t be for a single day!
Great spa, a proper spa not just a swimming pool masquerading as a spa as if offers a few treatments! My only complaint was the booking process for treatments , which you do direct with the spa, by the time I eventually got someone to take my booking there were only two slots left, we were a last minute booking but on speaking to others on spa days they too were unable to book as many treatments as they would like, I just don't understand that if you know you have people wanting to book treatments why not offer more slots earlier and later or even bring in extra staff to facilitate the need. The days and treatments aren't cheap so I'm pretty sure it would be cost effective.
