Enjoyed a very relaxing day at Doxford Hall Spa. The relaxation room is delightful and the afternoon tea was delicious.
My daughter and I visited Doxford Hall Spa for a relaxing day out together. It was wonderful.
We were greeted warmly. Everything was clean and elegant. We enjoyed the comfy robes and slippers; appreciated the pool (not too cold!), Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room; we particularly liked the dimly-lit and welcoming Relaxation Room, and the ready access to tasty coffees (daughter); a variety of herbal infusions (me); and tea - although we would have liked fresh milk for the tea, rather than tiny long-life cartons.
We booked two separate half-hour treatments (to spread the fun through the day) and were delighted with both our back, neck & shoulder message and our facials. Skin in tip-top form for days afterwards.
Afternoon tea was delicious: I've never been offered a better gluten-free selection - thank you!
It was a cold, windy day. The Spa was warm and cosy, but the exit door in the Morning Room made Afternoon Tea somewhat Baltic as staff/customers came in and out. Needs some thought...
Excellent spa day staff treatment and facilities all excellent.
Fantastic Day. Spa and treatments brilliant and day finished of with afternoon tea.
Myself and 2 friends booked an overnight spa break. 2 of us in a twin room, and one in a double room, which she paid a little extra for. Rooms were lovely, I was in a twin room which overlooked the entrance and lovely gardens. We had a walk around the gardens and took lots of photographs. Didn't try the maze as the ground was a little soft and didn't have correct footwear. Spa treatment, facial was very relaxing.
Evening meal was delicious, we were served nibbles in the bar before our meal was served. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful.
Breakfast really good too, with good choice of breakfasts, ranging from cooked breakfast to continental style.
All staff were lovely, I would definitely return and would recommend.
