Excellent Value for money.
Spa facilities good, although perhaps too many children in swimming pool for a relaxing afternoon?
Couldn’t fault the spa, staff and facilities excellent. Came away feeling relaxed and pampered.
My only niggle was hotel a little dated and could do with an overhaul. Windows in room very grubby also tiles in bathroom around bath cracked but saying that this didn’t affect our stay.
Food on offer was excellent as well definitely worth having a break with friend.
We had the most amazing and relaxing time at Aldwark Manor over the bank holiday weekend made even better by the glorious weather. Booking SpaSeekers was easy although we did end up paying more than advertised when the price on the website should really have been correct but it wasn't a big problem. We both booked our treatment of a revitalising body scrub and back, shoulder and neck massage, both of which were amazing. We then had the afternoon to use the spa but as the weather was so good we spent most of it outside in the sun. It was like being abroad! The spa was spotless and the stay were very polite and helpful. The spa itself is not very big and there isn't a lot of room around the pool to grab a bed and relax but it was a quiet day so we were fine. We had an overnight stay, lunch and dinner in the deal, all which were superb! We would definitely return to the hotel and spa, in fact it's our wedding venue for next year so we will be back soon!
The hotel itself has lovely decor. Reception is comfortable and clean with nice seating area. Pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi all maintained well. Treatment was excellent. Danielle gave the most relaxing massage and rooms were clean and comfortable. Relaxation rooms were fantastic. Lunch was very light but ample. We will be returning .
Booking was very easy, the whole weekend was a treat for my daughter and me and it couldn't have been better. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our body scrub and massage made us feel so pampered. We definitely want to back again.
