The hotel is truly magnificient with perfectly manicured gardens and with views across the Warwickshire countryside as far as the eye can see! The Spa is adjacent from the hotel, where we were warmly welcomed by the staff and shown to a table for a complimentary beverage. We were shown around the lovely facilities, given our towels and robes and spent the whole day just relaxing on the heated tiled loungers and around the pool. We loved the outdoor hydro therapy pool with its invigorating jets and spent some time in the crystal steam room and sauna. The Jacuzzi was amazingly warm and we enjoyed our time bubbling away our stress! The changing rooms were exceptionally clean with showers, lockers, products and hair dryers. The lockers were really ample and had a hanger for our clothes, shelves and even a drawer for your jewerly! The treatment rooms were just so stylish and relaxing, Really warm and with soothing piped music! We both had a back, neck and shoulder massage and in the afternoon my friend had an Elemis facial and I had a Jessica deluxe pedicure. Our therapists were so professional and really friendly! Lunch was chosen from a spa menu with lots of choice. We selected a chicken and bacon sandwich on wholemeal which was presented beautifully with kettle chips and coleslaw. It was freshly made and utterly delicious! In the afternoon we spoilt ourselves with cream tea for two which was truly indulgent! The whole day was just so relaxing from the moment we arrived. The spa reception is designed so lovely, with a water feature, and lots of comfy chairs. All the staff were really helpful, smilie and friendly. The spa has lots of lush facilities and we really did not have time to use them all. The gym looked really well equipped, however we went for a relaxing day and did not want to visit the gym or partake in a studio session. Overall the day hit the spot exactly, it more than met with our expectations and we cannot wait to visit again. Top notch spa with great facilities in an enviable location!
The Welcombe Spa is one of those Wow! places, where you go through the double glass doors and instantly feel calm and relaxed. The staff are polite ad friendly, the treatments everything you would want and the facilities world class. I had a deep tissue massage while my fiancée had a massage and a facial. We both came out feeling a million dollars. We then spent a couple of wonderful hours using the pool, outdoor spa pool, and the steam and sauna rooms. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone wanting to relax and unwind.
We had an overnight spa break at the Welcombe Hotel. The break was very easy to organise and the booking line operator very helpful in contacting the hotel and getting back to me quickly. We had chosen a neck, back and shoulder massage for our treatment, which was lovely. The whole experience was very relaxing, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The evening meal was excellent, the swimming pool, spa facilities and gym were great, and the room and hotel very clean and luxurious. Many thanks
Excellent service in the spa, very clean facilities, great location. Highly recommended: a stay in one of the apartments in the hotel. Also the dinner in the evening was excellent. The living room with the open fire is very relaxing. All in all: not to be missed!
I booked a couples spa day for myself and my partner for his birthday at the Welcombe Spa. The Spa is beautiful. Very large and lots of natural light. We spent the morning in the pools and heat treatment rooms which were all spotless and spacious. The best part was the outdoor pool - don't be put off with it being outside as it's the temperature of very warm bath water and the jets are fab. Lunch was gorgeous, as were the hot chocolates (not very healthy but too good to resist). In the afternoon we had our treatments with two very friendly girls from the Elemis/Clarins treatment rooms and they were amazing. I'd be more than happy to go back again!
There’s a long list of fantastic spa packages available here at the Welcombe Hotel Spa and Golf Club – from one day bliss-filled treats to overnight stays, hen parties and much, much more. The location for your little piece of spa heaven couldn’t be much more perfect either, a 19th century building complete with original details and oak panelling, a slice of the scenic Warwickshire countryside, close proximity to beautiful Stratford upon Avon, complete with golf if that’s what you fancy, a swimming pool that actually plays music underwater, a spa and dining options that will tempt and indulge you.
There are no less than six treatment rooms here at the spa, one of them a ‘dual' room perfect for sharing. Friendly, professional spa therapists are at the ready with delicious treatments courtesy of Elemis and Clarins, to leave you feeling pampered, relaxed and genuinely rather lovely. Enjoy a calming massage or holistic therapy if you feel like trying something a bit different, then you might like to head down to the state of the art thermal suite with its selection of experiences - a tepidarium, Laconium and caldarium, experience showers that replicate tropical storms and an ice fountain to cool things back down.
The health club at the hotel caters for every taste, whether you want a leisurely swim in the delightful musically-enhanced pool, a hard core workout in the top of the range Technogym fitness suite, or perhaps you want to take your pick from the extensive selection of fitness classes on offer. If none of that appeals, there are always the gorgeous grounds for a brisk walk or a gentle stroll. The choice is yours, and there's plenty to do!
The hotel doesn't have four stars for no reason - and one of the reasons is the delicious food in the Trevelyan Restaurant, which has some fabulous dishes on offer as well as some rather special views out over the Italian Gardens and water features. There's a comprehensive wine list that complements the food and the ambience is definitely conducive to a fully relaxing spa day. There's a lounge to chill out with a snack and a drink and plenty to choose from on the bar menu too.
