This brilliant health club is set into 78 acres of grounds along with some stunning panoramic views, so the Riverside Health and Racquets Club in Northwood is way more than a run-of-the-mill gym.
The Tranquility spa is perfect for a spa treatment or two with Espa or Guinot.
Once you've finished pampering yourself, try the split level gym, tennis and squash courts or fitness studio if you want a bit of activity in your spa day.
If all you want to do is relax, enjoy the steam room, Jacuzzi or sauna, or spend a bit of time chilling out in the bar or restaurant.

A perfect day I was pleasantly surprised by this spa and the great facilities. Everyone was very helpful and Kirsty, who was assigned as my personal therapist for the day, was an absolute delight. She couldn\'t have been more helpful and was also an excellent and caring therapist. Although expensive I felt, with the treatments included, that the day was good value for money. |

spa day review The only down side of my spa day, which was quite expensive, was on my arrival at the main desk in the spa, the reception staff didnt seem to understand what i was there for, (although they were very pleasant), the lady that spoke to me had a broad accent and i had trouble understanding her, i explained i was having a spa day with treatments, she just gestured with her hand, where i should go to. I again explained i had never been there before, had no idea where anything was, i then had a slightly better explanation of where to go, but must say i wasn't impressed - someone should have physically shown me where to go, afterall there were two receptionists and they weren't that busy, so it wasn't a good start. However, when i got to the beauty treatment area on the 1st floor, it all changed, Claire, receptionist was amazing looked after me the whole time, the treatments were fabulous! |

Excellent would definitely do this again I booked the group pamper package for my hen party. None of us had been to a spa before, wasn't quite sure if i was a 'spa' person before booking.....now iv been i definitely am!! The quality of treatments were excellent, with a very clean premises, lovely atmosphere, &the treatment rooms were impeccable. The relaxation room was very nice, but i felt there wasn't enough space for all 6 of us to relax at ease (only 3 bed-chairs and 1 couch). For those who had questions about their skin etc, the therapists provided excellent knowledge in which products & for what purposes. The lunch included was also very good, & better than expected. It is a shame you cant just stay in your robe all day as the health club is very big & you will be passing through different areas to go from the pool, changing rooms, cafeteria, gym etc If i had a choice to come back, i would definitely do so again! |

Lovely treatments The treatments we had were lovely and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I was a disappointed however that this was not a typical spa. By this I mean that you can't relax for a day in a robe. The spa is in a large health club and it was necessary to get dressed after treatments and to leave the spa area and get changed elsewhere if you wanted to use the pool or sauna. There were also no real relaxation areas, just a few chairs next to the reception. If you're looking for good treatments I'd recommend the Riverside but if you're looking for a relaxing spa day it's maybe not the right place. |

Cant wait to return I booked my mini pamperday through spaseekers, from the moment i made the booking by phone to the moment i left having enjoyed my spa day everything went perfectly. The treatments were great, very relaxing, i enjoyed the leisure facilities and lunch. Ive told all of my friends about the spaseekers site and the Esporta club. Infact its my friends 40th soon and we are thinking about another spa day. |
