The fantastic Royal County of Berkshire Health and Racquets Club is absolutely the perfect place to try if you really want to see what the fuss is about a spa.

You can relax in comfort in one of the club's five treatment rooms, courtesy of Espa, Guinot or mama mio, and then go on to either relax a bit more in the pools, Jacuzzi, steam room or sauna...or you can pep yourself up with a studio class or a session in the fabulous Technogym.

Either way, the club is a fantastic excuse to get away for just a day and spoil yourself rotten.

Relaxing and Revitalising Very good range of facilities including gym, fitness classes, indoor tennis, several pools, Jacuzzi, steam room/sauna, along with separate treatment area. Treatments received were excellent. Very friendly, helpful staff. I was concerned about one of my guests, who was in her 80s and very nervous as had never had beauty treatments before, but I had pre-warned the spa and they identified a very calming lady, who put my mum at ease. Excellent restaurant/cafe facilities with good range of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Only slight \'downside\' was only a few loungers on poolside with no magazines to sit and relax.
