We both enjoyed the whole time at our spa break, which was a gift, very relaxing, great treatment all round, excellent.
The place is ok, not hard to find always a bonus. Although places like the restaurant could do with being modernised. One member of staff was not helpful when we had our evening meal, in fact ignored us, however another member of staff who then took over from her was much more helpful. We did pay for an upgraded room which was ok but the bathroom could do with some attention, & no sky sports on the tv, my husband was disappointed, a golf channel but no other sports. The views were lovely over the golf course & someone we spoke to did say the golf was very good there. We went for the thermal suite, very nice but we really didnt need 3 hrs in there.
We returned for our second 2 night spa break after enjoying our visit a year ago. Our aim: to destress and relax and this was certainly achieved. Ufford Park is a hotel with a spa attached so meals are taken in the main restaurant or bar, breakfast and 3 course dinner being included in the package price. Good food and plenty of it. The spa treatments are the best we have experienced and we've been to other, more renowned and expensive places. The therapists are very professional and obviously experts in their field. The reflexology and hot stone back massage are wonderful! The indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and suana are fine although be prepared for children to be there particularly during school holidays. However, there is also a thermal suite and relaxation room tucked away for adults only. Overall, friendly staff, clean rooms and spa; great value. Try it!
Attended a Spa Hen Day at Ufford Park Spa as part of a group of 15 girls, all ages. Had a complimentary drink on arrival (a lovely touch) and had a consultation to pick my 30 min treatment. Too much to choose from but went for a Stone Back Massage. Were issued with towels and robes and shown the facilities and were then left to our own devises. Fabulous facilities and very clean, obviously taken pride in. My therapist came and got me for the best massage Ive ever had, the hot stones gave a really deep massage.Food was good, great choice and good value. Overall friendliness excellent for a spa novice like me who now feels confident to go again. Favourite thing the massage, least favourite coming home!!
Easy to find, looks quite nice. bit dated, but dont let that make up your mind. gym is ok, mrs went for a 30 min facial and really enjoyed it. light lunch was exactly that, but you would'nt want anything more then that if you are then going into the spa rooms. The spa rooms where really nice, really chilled in there. not rushed, just left alone, looovellly. 8/10. worth a go.
