Very relaxing I took my mum for the mothers and daughters day. It was a lovely day and we both thoroughly relaxed. My only small criticism would be that thoresby hall have changed the spa lunch menu and I really don\'t think it compared to the old one they had in the Italian restaurant. AWESOME PARADISE HI, MY DAUGHTER AND I WENT TO A MOTHER AND DAUGHTER PAMPER DAY EXPERIENCE.WE BOTH ENJOYED THE WHOLE ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE. THE GRAND ENTRANCE WAS VERY BEAUTIFUL AND THE STAFF GREETED US WITH PROFESSIONALISM AND EXPLAINED HOW OUR EXPERIENCE WOULD PROVIDE US WITH TOTAL PAMPERING FROM START TO FINISH.THE HOTEL AND SPA ROOMS WHERE EXCEPTIONAL CLEAN,TIDY,AND DUST FREE. THE BEAUTICIAN WAS HAPPY TO PROVIDE ME WITH OPTIMAL CHOICES AS I DID NOT WANT A FACIAL AS I HAD A COLD. I REQUESTED IF SHE COULD LET ME HAVE MY FEET AND LEGS MASSAGED.THE BEAUTICIAN ASKED ME HOW IF I WANTED ANY OTHER OPTIONS TO MAKE MY VISIT PLEASANT.MY TREATMENT WAS DONE PROFESSIONALLY AND WITH SUCH A FRIENDLY PERSONALITY.THE BEAUTICIAN PROVIDED ME WITH SUCH DIGNITY AND RESPECT AT ALL TIMES.THE BEAUTICIAN USED THE CORRECT METHOD OF OILS TO SUIT MY MOOD AS PER HAVING CERTAIN PROBLEMS.THE STAFF KINDLY ESCORTED MY DAUGHTER AND MYSELF BACK TO THE RELAXING LOUNGE AREA WHERE OPTIMAL DRINKS AND FRUIT WAS LAID OUT.THE FOOD WAS LOVELY, AS WE ARE BOTH VEGETARIANS THE WAITRESS MADE SURE WE HAD AMPLE CHOICES AS WE DON\'T EAT CERTAIN FOODS AND REQUIRED CERTAIN VITAMINS.I RECOMMEND ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO HAVE ANY TREATMENTS , THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE.WE TOOK PHOTOS ON THE DAY AS IT WAS MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY.I MAKE SURE I TREAT MY DAUGHTER AND MYSELF TO OUR LITTLE PRIVATE WORLD OF PAMPERING SPRINKLED OILS TO THIS MOST BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY SPA AND HOTEL.WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO OUR NEXT VISIT. Mother & Daughter Day :) A very good value Mother and Daughter spa day. The treatment was lovely - we were changed to a double room for the massages which was fun. We were pleasantly surprised how long the massages lasted - an excellent package!When we arrived for start of the day the spa hadn\'t quite got going - sadly the drinks we got were cold. However the lunch was amazing; we were expecting a sandwich with a bit of lettuce but received choice from an Italian menu - thanks to the young waiter who enabled us to share a starter and a pudding. The facilities were good although the temperature in one of the steam room was far too low. Fabulous relaxing day! My daughter, 23, and I had a wonderfully relaxing girlie day at Thoresby Hall Spa in August, while the men went off to the Olympics. We thoroughly enjoyed being pampered all day and the staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. We enjoyed is so much that Rachel wants to go for a weekend Spa break there for her hen party! fantantic,exciting,awesome We had a mother and daughter spa day. We both had a lovely and exciting time, My daughter and i both said we are going to visit the spa more often,the treatments are fabolus,engaging, and sparkling. The spa was delightful, lots to do, very clean, and staff are always helpful. I enjoyed my time in the hydrotherapy pool, the foot pool, aromacave,and the various steam rooms. The food was ample, we had a two course meal that was so nicely presented. We took a few pictures of our pampered toes with nail and polish to top the day off. I had the best laugh and felt relaxed by all staff members. We are hoping to go every birthday, its the best present to purchased for some one you love,care,and want to share those special moments. My daughter said it was the best 25th birthday gift she has ever had, cant wait to go back. I request several leaflets on the spa experience to distrubute.Thanks. total bliss upon arrival we were greeted and showed around,we had 3 treatments which were all perfectly timed and done professionally,we had lunch which was a lovely 2 course meal in the italian restuarant and spent the whole day doing just what we wanted to do, would love to do it again,perfect present for my daughters 21st. relaxing, fantastic, peaceful After having a baby, it was lovely to have a day to myself and enjoy a well earned rest and \'me time\' at Thoresby Hall with friends. Everything was fantastic, however, I did feel that the meal could be better - I have been to Thoresby three times and each time changes are made to the format of the meal and you can see that this is to save money. The whole day is so fantastic, it is a shame to \'cheapen\' the format of the meal just to save some money. The menu is just very limited, not much choice! Fabulous relaxing day A 21st birthday pressie from my boyfriend, the mother and daughter pack was just the thing we needed to get back on track. And what a day it was! We arrived and were given free drinks vouchers and towelling robes. We proceeded to sit in the sun lounge for the next few hours, reading and chatting. The staff were polite and friendly but stayed away to allow us to sit and relax. We enjoyed the different sauna and steam rooms before devouring a magnificent 2-course Italian lunch. My mum could not find anything to suit her taste for her main, so was made a chicken salad which was not on the menu but just as mouthwatering as the rest of the food. Next were our individual treatments. Both our facials were great but my manicure wasn\'t up to scratch. This was mentioned to one of the girls and was redone for free. Extra treatments are easily and readily available for extra cost. A fabulous relaxing day!
