wonderful day Had a wonderful day, treatments lovely & relaxing. Staff helpful and polite. Lunch very nice, with salad and a glass of wine. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Only small point, it would be nice to have sun loungers near the pool, and some hooks to hang your robe on. Overall very enjoyable relaxing day. |

Lovely Local Spa Took my 82 year old mum for a spa at the Wrightington Country Club for an early Christmas present. Spa treatments and area fab as we were able to be in the same room which was comfortable for mum and we were able to have a giggle. Spa staff looked after us very well and the treatments were relaxing for us both. The lunch was very nice and we ate in our robes which was nice. The only downside for me was the noisy water aerobics class that was on when we were in the pool and that there are no loungers to relax on around the pool. Also the robes were not cotton and i got too hot in the fluffy poly ones that were supplied. |

Totally lovely day! I purchased the 2 for 1 offer for the spa as part of a birthday treat for my daughter\'s 18th and we had a lovely day! We used the jacuzzi/sauna/steam room with its lovely twinkly lighted ceiling all facilities very modern and clean but Vitality spa just totally made the day!! Beautifully decorated, immaculate and the staff were very friendly and professional showed us round the facilities which was a really nice touch. The treatments we had were amazing and we even got to have our facials in the same treatment room which was really nice as the day was all about us spending time together. We finished our day in the relaxation room, refreshments provided and soaked up the calm atmosphere before reluctantly heading home! We have already decided that we will go back again! |

Best Experience Ever! I came with a group of friends for my birthday and it was truly an unforgettable day! The greeting was warm and welcoming and the staff where lovely. We where shown the Relaxation room which was delightfully lit, with a selection of tea\'s and coffee\'s that we where told we could help ourselves throughout our stay and a number of beds to relax on. We then made our way to use the facilities and where provided with a comfortable robe and slippers.Nice food and wine and staff where friendly. But the icing on the birthday cake was the treatments. The rooms where candlelit and comfortable and we slowly melted away to a back massage and facial. Great staff, great treatments, great birthday!! Will definitely be returning!! |

Needs Improvemnet This was for my mums 60th Birthday and on arrival the receptionist was busy discussing some personal business with colleagues and ushered us through the door which wasn\'t too impressive. We then entered the spa which was lovely and staff were helpful in showing us round. We then were shown the relaxation room and told how to make our own drinks which we didn\'t mind but then another party of three ladies came in and they were asked what they wanted and a drink made for them! When it was time for lunch we were really let down as there were two tables set right next to one another one dressed really nice with a table cloth on and glasses with napkins etc. and then ours with no table cloth on and it was filthy we were the poor mans couple it really was one extreme to another. The food was good but why were we made to feel like we weren\'t as good?? The cost didn\'t reflect this!!!! |

Friendly, relaxing, comprehensive My Sister and I enjoyed a fabulous day at Wrightington Hotel Spa. From the moment we arrived till when the day ended the staff were helpful, friendly and could not do enough for us. The treatments were very nicely carried out, rooms were clean, calm and relaxing. The gym and pool were busy(we visited on a Sunday just after the new year so I think lots of people were in a \'get fit\' mood too). Even though it was busy the gym staff were interested and helpful and the equipment would suit a wide variety of training styles for men as well as women. The lunch was nicely delivered and good quality. I have visited several other spa\'s but will be going back here again in the Summer. |

Relaxing, Friendly, Comfortable We visited on the busiest Christmas Shopping day of the year - 11th December. Smart move, as it turned out! We were the only two people in the spa and had the undivided attention of the staff. The atmosphere was cosy, warm and relaxed; the staff were friendly and welcoming. The place was spotlessly clean and in good overall condition. The therapists were well trained and the treatments were very enjoyable. We even got to offer advice on the Chrismas advertising campaign!Best bits: The friendly warm welcome and relaxing atmosphere. The size of the swimming pool was an added bonusWorst bits: Lunch was average - nothing special, though the catering staff were lovely. The water supply in the shower was a bit irritating - the flow stopped after about 30 seconds and you had to keep pressing the button to start it again. |

Lovely relaxing day! This was a fabulous spa day, we got there and were shown around the spa, given robes and slippers, fruit tea and chilled out in the relaxation room! Was a hit straight away. We then went to use the sauna, swimming pool, steam room and jaquzzi. After this we we had our treatments. We both decided to have the back massage and neck and shoulders. We had it in the dual treatment room and it was well worth the money! We had the 2 4 1 £59. This was followed by a head massage. After this we had lunch in the cafe (sat in our robes!) where it was excellent value for money. Cost around £5 for a toasted ciabatta that came with salad and a few crisps! Lovely!! |
