Really Relaxing I had a really relaxing day. I arrived 9.30 in morning and was given my robe and slippers and towel and asked to choose my lunch menu. I then went down to take a step class - the trainer made me feels at ease. Then I had a great body scrub. Relaxed in the relaxing room drinking herb teas and having a nice read after lunch I headed off to have my facial and full body massage, then went back for a herbal tea and finished up with an express pedicure and manicure......what a great day. |

Spa overnight package Fantastic!! The hotel and its surroundings were lovely. The dinner (which was included in the price) was delicious. I bought vouchers for my daughters 30th birthday and we chose the Vale as we felt it was good value for money. We upgraded our room to include a balcony which was well worth it. The spa was very clean with excellent facilities, our only complaint would be that our treatments were rushed- they should have been an hour long but were only 40 minutes in total. This was a little disappointing as we agreed to forgo the initial 30 minute treatments (as advertised) so felt that we should have had the full hour as arranged. Dispite this I would recommend it and return |

Enjoyable stay The hotel and was in a loving setting with great facilities. The Hotel had no faults. Staff was friendly and the hotel was very nice. A lovely relaxathon! I had never been to a Spa before my visit to the Vale. It was a surprise Christmas present from my boyfriend and he definately went all out! I was dropped off at 9:30am where I was greeted by very friendly Spa staff who kindly showed me around and explained what the day would entail (helpful for a spa virgin). I had a full spa day package which included a facial, followed by a nice, light lunch. Then came the massage, followed by a manicure and a pedicure. Each session was wonderful and relaxing, and Stephanie (who I spent most of my day with except for the pedicure) was great to talk to and obviously loves her job.In between sessions there was a tea and coffee bar which I took full advantage of while relaxing with a cosmo magazine on a wonderful leather sofa.For someone who has never been to a Spa in her life, I suppose I didn't really know what to expect. I was delighted with the entire experience and would recommend the Vale to anyone. The staff really make the experience worth it as I felt right at home and taken care of the entire day.Thank you so much and I will (hopefully) be back soon! |
