Great Value, good day My friend and I attended on a Saturday. We were booked on the Top to Toe package. On arrival a girl from the spa showed us the facilities which included saunas, steam rooms, Jacuzzis and a swimming pool. She was really helpful, told us to avoid the pool at 10am as there was a water aerobics class then. We changed in the excellent changing rooms, filled in our lunch voucher for the bistro, had a welcoming coffee and relaxed. The only disappointing part was the manicure. The paint was applied properly on neither mine nor my friend’s nails. Otherwise all the treatments were fantastic and worth it! My advice, on a Saturday book your treatments in the afternoon as the sauna, swimming pool gets really busy after lunch. Also you don\'t want to wash off the oils and moisturiser from the Elemis glow. So use the facilities before lunch and have your treatments in the afternoon. Then head home! |

fab relaxing day Went for a revitalise & relaxation day with my mum as a treat for both our birthdays. Staff were welcoming & friendly from start to finish. Lunch was delicious, the building & surroundings were clean and modern. And the treatments did exactly what they were advertised to do. Really good day and great value for money, would definitely do this again. |

Floating away after treatments! Plus points:lovely clean and relaxing spa with friendly spa staff - I felt I could float away after the treatments. Clean well-maintained swimming area with views over the surrounding golf courses. Ample sized changing rooms, fully equipped with everything needed. Relaxing cafe area serving tasty food with comfy chairs to relax in and plenty of up-to-date newspapers and magazines. Negative points:Staff didn\'t mention aqua aerobics class being held in swimming pool - would have been best to either join in class, or avoid swimming pool area during class. The cafe area seemed mostly used by people after the gym or after classes before going home - felt a little self conscious sitting there in a bathrobe between treatments. |

In my element Lovely pool, sauna and steam rooms. The large pool surrounded by windows with its high ceiling was a treat. Body glow scrub treatment combined with facial was fabulous. 3 of the 4 beauty therapists were skilled and knowledgeable and I appreciated their flexibility with the treatments for myself and a friend. The pedicure was disappointing consisting only of painting my toe nails, but the manicure and hand massage was wonderful. Vegetarian lunch was absolutely delicious. I\'ve certainly got a top to toe glow! |

Another World! I took my daughter for a Mother and Daughter Pamper Day - a new experience for both of us. It was another world! We had a fantastic day, in lovely relaxing surroundings and felt like royalty. We were complete novices at the spa - but are already planning to go back! Everything from the lunch to the changing rooms, from the steam room to the beauty treatments, was just great. The perfect way to get away from the stresses of every day life. |

Spa modest, treaments good I advise that you time your arrival to when classes in the pool and hall finish if you prefer a quiet swim, and Jacuzzi before your treatments. Showers could do with an upgrade. Treatments were good and I especially enjoyed the back and shoulder massage, which was done at exactly the right degree of intensity as per my request. |

A very relaxing day The staff at Witney Lakes are wonderfully attentive. Not just within the spa itself, but the bar staff, the staff in the gym and the reception. We had all our treatments in the afternoon, which is best, as you don\'t wash off the lovely oils in the pool. Exceptionally clean environment, nice lunch and a perfect day. I would recommend this spa and looking forward to booking with Spaseekers again. |

A Relaxing Day Out This was a Mother Daughter Experience after Daughter\'s knee operation. We were made welcome and shown around by a friendly lady at the front desk. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, it was clean and members smiled and were helpful in the cloakroom. The gym was very good and efficient, the swimming pool rather small when more than five people were swimming at the same time. The treatment rooms were small and a bit dark without windows but the therapists very friendly and knew what they were doing. The treatments on offer were well done. The choice food in the bar was very nicely presented and again the staff waited on us with a smile. Witney Lakes resort was new to us and we liked the location. It is well sign posted. Looking out onto the green golf course was a tonic. We would certainly visit there again. |

OK, but could have been more special My husband bought me spa vouchers for my birthday and my friend came too and paid cash for exactly the same set of treatments: manicure, pedicure, facial, body scrub and full body massage. The place is very nice, everything was very clean but we felt a little bit as if we were being treated differently because I was using vouchers. The letter that we received beforehand had stated a two-course lunch but when we arrived we were told that was a mistake and actually it was a one-course lunch. It was delicious but we were only allowed to choose from the salad bar, not the main menu, and it was a cold wet day and hot food would have been preferable, but we were both completely full up afterwards so it was fine. The actual treatments were lovely and the girls were very obliging about re-doing my nail varnish when I blotted it almost immediately. |
