Went for valentines weekend. had a amazing time. Spa is gorgeous. Pool is lovely. Rooms are clean & nice size & food was really nice. Only little thing I could critique is communication. We weren't told much about times for breakfast lunch etc. We had to find out ourselves. Went to breakfast in robe as had treatment straight after but was not allowed in so had to go back to room & change so just bare that in mind for your visit. Apart from that it was a amazing weekend.id definitely go back.
Excellent Day....fantastic service from all staff...ladies on reception, new manager, and treatment girls. Even the man behind the bar in the restaurant could not do enough for us...even offered me cream and chocolate sprinkled on my latte!! Pool area is very very clean and the water is a beautiful blue...makes you feel like you are somewhere exotic! Treatments were out of this world especially the back massage! The only criticism I have is no one pointed out the relaxation room was for general use, we thought it was one of the treatment rooms so spent £20 extra on the day in the bar on coffee, tea etc when herbals are complimentary in the relaxation room...so make sure you use it rather than the bar area. Food at lunch was very nice too so overall a great day.
Lovely overnight spa break. Spa treatment was very relaxing. Spa facilities good although they were experiencing problems with the water temperature in the ladies showers at the time of our stay. Room, food and service was excellent albeit service quite slow at lunchtimes. Bar prices quite expensive. Overall great stay.
We were made to feel very welcome and we were impressed by the facilities. Everywhere was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The full body massage and facial was superb, incredibly relaxing. The manicure was adequate. The lunch provided was attractive in appearance and delicious, plenty of choice. We would definitely go again.Booking through SpaSeekers was very easy and the staff very helpful.
Some friends and I decided we need a day to pamper ourselves and relax so we organised a day at The Belfry, Cambridge. We found the front of house staff really helpful and despite their being some trouble, one of their therapists had phoned in sick, the problem was dealt with quickly and to our satisfaction. The spa itself, although small and a little dated, was just what we needed and had all of the facilities you would expect. We each had 2 treatments; neck, back and shoulder massage and a facial and all found them to be relaxing.Lunch was nice, it was a buffet with a good range of choices. The only downside we found was that the spa and pool area got really busy with children in the afternoon but that is to be expected during the summer holidays I guess - we just moved to the relaxation room until it has quietened down.
This has to be the perfect spa break destination – a night here in such close proximity to everything that historic Cambridge has to offer, in comfortable, stress-free surroundings that are just so conducive to a relaxing spa visit. The Cambridge Belfry is in modern, upmarket Cambourne, just south of beautiful Cambridge city and with great links into the city centre. You might prefer to spend your time within the hotel’s four walls with so much on offer though. For a perfect spa day, lie back and experience the feel of perfect pampering in one of the comfortable treatment rooms…
Your perfect spa experience starts with top-quality spa beauty products and a professional spa therapist on hand to make you feel truly spoiled. Enjoy a sweet, sweet smelling spa treatment courtesy of ESPA, and then relax into a massage, body treatment or facial - or perhaps emerge from your spa cocoon glammed up with a manicure instead? The pools will tempt you in with their pristine, heated waters, and as if that weren't enough, there's a sauna and a refreshing steam room to kick back in and a relaxation area for relaxing in with a magazine. Or simply daydreaming.
As you would expect from a modern, top quality hotel, there's something for everyone in the fitness department too. You can choose from the leisure club facilities - the lovely pool that just teases you in or the excellent Technogym fitness suite that will inspire even the least enamoured of gym-bunnies in for a workout on one of the hi-tech cardio and resistance machines! Helpful fitness staff are also on hand to advise if you need encouragement...
You won't need to worry about feeling hungry here at the Cambridge Belfry - the Bridge Bar and Restaurant has all your dining requirements covered, whether you're in the mood for a healthy light bite or something more decadent to add to your indulgence day. Enjoy freshly prepared meals to suit all tastes. The restaurant also boasts a fully-stocked cellar of fine wines to complement the meals, so you needn't go thirsty either.
