Bliss at Stobo castle From the time I arrived to the time I left I was treated with the upmost respect. All the staff were friendly, helpful and demonstrated professionalism at all times. Nothing was a bother to them. On arrival I was shown around and everything I needed to know was fully explained. All my needs were met ranging from the beautiful and clean accommodation; fabulous food; clean and comfortable Spa facilities and the treatments - just Bliss. The four therapists I met introduced themselves; explained everything in full and the treatments carried out were to a high standard of care and knowledge. I would definitely re-visit Stobo Castle and have more treatments. |

Total relaxation! Gorgeous surroundings and excellent service; the food was amazing. Only downside was the \"upgraded\" room from standard to classic, which, had low windows, when you did bend to look out the view consisted of a metal roof covered in puddles. Dread to think what the standard room view was! We did not pay for the spa break as it was a gift but if we had then I would have been disappointed with the room as it cost £350 for the package. |

Never Fails!!! I have been going to Stobo Castle for over 15 years and it never fails to be relaxing, de-stressful, first class and always friendly staff who remember me and my friends. The hall has beautiful accommodation and caters for everyone with excellent food. The facilities have always been immaculate, updated, top products and treatments. I can be energetic or as lazy as I wish with a stroll in the lovely surrounding of the gardens or chat with friends in the conservatory over coffee or snooze in the library. I have been all over the UK to top Health Spas and enjoyed where-ever I go but always returned to the reliable, comfort of my beloved Stobo. - Janet Murphy |

Well looked after by staff I spent the full day at the spa, the treatments were nicely spread out through the day; had time to use the other spa facilities on offer at my leisure. A three course lunch was included with a wide choice of food available. The staff, spa and treatments were of a high standard; would recommend Stobo Castle to friends. |

Wonderful, relaxing, pampering, Classic room was brilliant and huge. My cousin and I had a fantastic time; basically the whole experience is amazing. We changed straight away into our gym wear as we joined a Chi Ball Class which I have to say was great, we changed into our swimsuits and robes, no slippers were provided…We had a very relaxing time in the steam, sauna and Jacuzzi, then went for a swim, until it was time for our treatment. I had an Indian Head massage which is my favourite, so relaxing. I have to say that the treatment was not that great, firstly I had to sit in a normal chair facing the wall, while the therapist sat behind me. It did not last very long and I certainly didn’t feel very relaxed after it. The worst was the meal which I found a sharp piece of plastic which cut my mouth they gave us champagne the chef came to apologise but I had to go out of the room to speak to him, he didn’t come to the table. |

Beyond my imagination experience From the moment I arrived I was sweeped up into the most chilled out and relaxed atmosphere created by the surroundings and the facilities. The staff could not have been more attentive to clients. The food was to die for and plentiful. I like my food and therefore was concerned that I might feel hungry but it was very much the opposite; I was totally satisfied. I have recommended it to lots of family and friends and I will definitely be returning myself and hopefully that will be soon. |

Stobo Castle on a Budget Thought this spa resort was out of our price range, but decided to treat ourselves to a two night stay staying in the cheapest rooms which are the lodge rooms; nice touches are that they wash your car for you. We opted not to book treatments and waited to see what was on when we got there. As it was my husband and me we found that the free program suited us fine, we did aquafit, swimfit, spin (indoor bikes), before lunch walk, mountain biking plus, used the spa faculties. However, many of the spa rooms are in the ladies changing area so this made it hard for us to do things together, there was a large Jacuzzi and a steam room that both sexes could use but the sauna and other steam rooms were not available to my husband. The food was very good both for breakfast, lunch and dinner, not big portions but what you would expect at a health spa. We enjoyed our time but would say it is definitely set out as a ladies spa resort, but felt that although we did not have any treatments we got our monies worth from all the free activities available. It would be nice next time to treat ourselves to a room in the main building and a few treatments. A beautiful place though. |
