This spa hotel is fantastic. We felt very welcome and chiiled throughout the day and the treatments were very very relaxing from very experienced staff. Lunch was included and was lovely in the hotel restaurant even though having to dress was a bit irritating. I really recommend this place as it is full of character and a very pleasant place to relax. I will be coming back!!!
Lovely day - just as it said on the tin. The deal was amazing. Spa seekers managed to get me more than I would have wanted to pay for the day. The venue and the treatments were superb and the lunch. Felt very priviledged.
Overall this was a very pleasant day for my friend and i.it was a birthday present for her and it was the second time we had used the facility. Unfortunately on arrival the receptionist at the spa questioned the price i had paid and proceeded to discuss prices etc in front of my friend. This was embarrassing for us both especially my friend who had no idea how much i had paid for the day. On a positive note the treatments were fabulous and well worth the price. The girls in the spa were friendly and very professional at all times. We had lunch in the restaurant and again the staff were friendly and helpful. The three times cooked French fries were rather salty! We had a great day and intend to return again in November for my birthday. But it would be great to win a day for my friend and i in the meantime!
It was actually a present for my wife and her friend. They thought it was the best spa day they've had, and they've done a few. The staff were really nice and helpful and unlike some places they've been, it really wasn't stuck up. Most impressed.
On arriving at the spa we were welcomed warmly and by name (!) by both hotel and spa staff - immediately feeling special and the day got off to a good start! After lounging by the very beautiful pool and dipping into the hot tub, steam rooms and sauna we had a fabulous lunch in the hotel dining room. The facials and pedicures in the afternoon were very expert and you could tell that the people who work there have a passion for what they do. We had Elemis and Jessica treatments which were superb. Everything is very clean and good quality, nothing is too much trouble. We went on the summer deal and got very good value for money, but would definitely go back even without a deal on.
