What a perfect day
We had a fantastic day, enjoying three treatments each, full use of the jacuzzi etc. We also had a lovely walk in the grounds after a very large, excellent lunch in what was rather a noisy bar. We were not given any complimentary drinks other than the odd glass of water but this certainly did not dampen an excellent value for money day. We do recommend you take a sat nav to find it though!

The Mansion House Spa is new to 2008 and designed with you in mind, the Spa combines traditional luxury interiors with a contemporary edge to create the perfect environment to relax and indulge. The Spa features a range of treatment rooms, including hair, nail and make-up studios. You can also unwind in the sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room, allowing you to really make your time in The Spa your own.So whether you have a whole weekend, a day or just an hour, the aim is to provide you with a haven of peace and tranquillity, stimulate the senses, transform the body and evoke a feeling of overall beauty and wellbeing.
Accommodation
Choose from Standard, Classic and Mansion Premium rooms. All fully equipped with en-suite facilities, TV, free internet access, tea & coffee tray, iron and a hairdryer. Should you wish to treat yourself and a loved one to something special the Mansion Premium rooms offer that extra luxury with a king size bed and supreme style and class. Why not enjoy an aperitif in the bar before dining in the Steam, Bake and Grill restaurant, which opened summer 2008. Here you will feast on scrumptious dishes prepared using the finest local foods in plush surroundings.
Cuisine
Enjoy a relaxing bar snack in the Claret Jug restaurant where robes are more than welcome! Breakfast, lunch and dinner are enjoyed in the stunning Maple Restaurant with views over the hotels private lake and rolling lawns.

Gerard’s have been carefully selected as the skincare and body range, using natural ingredients and pure essential oils, each made from concentrated flower and plant extracts which can be tailored to individual skin types. There are so many enticing treatments on the menu it will be impossible to resist. The treatment rooms are purpose built oozing luxury and blissful tranquillity. *Facials within the Mini Pamperday and Deluxe Pamperday will be a Mini Facial and not a Prescription Facial*

The neighbouring Wokefield Executive Centre is designed specifically for training courses, conferences and team-building events. This spacious and contemporary building has a swimming pool and fitness centre which all guests are welcome to use. If you enjoy a round of golf don't miss out on their US PGA-standard championship golf course.

Legoland is fun for all the family, place your bets at Ascot Racecourse, Wellington Country Park has 350 acres of gorgeous parkland, the ornamental Savill Gardens, the town of Windsor is oozing historic attractions. Reading is well worth a visit and also Reading Abbey, which dates back to 1121.

Myself and 2 friends had a mini pamper day at Wokefield Park. Our treatments were scheduled in the afternoon so we had the morning to relax. We were disappointed that the swimming pool was not in the same building as the spa and we also had to go to the golf shop to get a keycard to enter the pool area. We used the pool, sauna and hot-tub and then headed back to the restaurant for lunch. Lunch was a buffet starter and dessert with a choice of main course (roast turkey, sweet & sour pork, fish cakes). After our leisurely lunch we went back to the spa for our treatments. There were only 2 therapists available so two of us had treaments at the same time and one had to wait alone. Treatments were excellent!The tiny changing room area does not have any lockers for bags and there was no hairdryer.The spa staff were lovely and did not try to sell us beauty products as they do at other spas!Guest Rating
