Excellent Just got back from a Friday Feeling spa break at the Village Hotel, Swindon. There were six of us and we were all very impressed with the hotel, the rooms, the facilities, the spa treatments, the restaurant and especially the cost of £79. What great value for money. I had the back massage, and I have to say it was the best I had ever had. We are planning to go back in the Spring and cannot wait. Well done Spaseekers for finding such a great deal. |

travelling in lift? This was a present from a friend for my 40th so it was a lovely treat. I was told at main reception where to go so I followed the signs to the pool area as I had a treatment booked at 10 but I wanted to place my belongings in the locker aound the pool area. I was not greeted very well at the reception for the pool area. They just said you should go to the health suite first to get your robe so of I went in the lifts again up to to the second floor where I then went into the treatment area, where I was then advised ( after saying I have been sent up here from the pool area) oh they always say that you only to come to us to get your robe !!- But the treatments I recieved where lovely I had a back massage & a facial. Apart from what happened upon arrival the treatments more than made up for it. |

Relaxing few days We both enjoyed the whole few days away; treatments were amazing, and very relaxing. The hotel was having refurbishments done, but didn\'t interfere to much. The hotel staff were all out standing, always there to help. The spa was clean and well presented. The best: was the relaxing few days. The least: was having to leave. Our time out My friend and I stayed at the DeVere for a two day break from the 15th to the 17th of June 2010. A nice hotel, but I fear \"looking a little tired\" and in need of a possible makeover!! Staff were friendly enough…The room was nice and clean...The food in the restaurant was very nice and plenty of it!! This is the second time I have stayed at the DeVere and yes I would probably stay again. |

No frills value Just a quick overnight stop whilst working, good no frill value and the staff made it very pleasant; they were helpful and friendly. I recently went to another DeVere hotel in Leeds on the back of this experience but was disappointed after the good experience in Swindon. My only criticism is that I had to pay double because I was on my own and a little discount would have been good, I didn\'t after all eat 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners and, the room needs less cleaning. |
