Silver spa day My sister and I were bought this package by our Mum for Christmas. We had a lovely relaxing day the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had the most glorious day and the spa was just nicely busy. We were even able to swim outside which was a rare treat for this time of the year. We used the gym too! My only small moan would be the lunch and although the staff were lovely our sandwiches were a bit stale and the soup not very hot. (They had had a busy weekend they said and had run out of a lot of things which is a shame that a big Hotel like that wasn\'t more organised) apart from that we had a lovely relaxing days and the treatments were good too . I came away feeling so relaxed and had the best nights sleep I have had for a long timeI would definitely go back and next time even stay a night as well, you would never know you were in Blackpool great place!!! Thank you x |

Not a spa day!! Although treatments were very good I would not recommend paying £125 for a spa day. You could not relax by the pool here as it was very busy with lots of children, but most disappointing was having to keep getting dressed rather than relaxing in a gown as the lunch as part of the package was in the pub (not somewhere you would sit in your robe) and the food was limited and not light or healthy. Also treatments began at 12.00 so we had to have lunch at 11.00 was not planned very well. |

Silver Spa Package The Hotel was really smart! The pool and facilities were brilliant. We chose the back massage and I had a manicure which were both really exceptional. The bar where we enjoyed our meal was really friendly and relaxed and opened out onto a terrace which was on the side of the golf course.We would really recommend this hotel and spa and would love to go back! |

Absolutly fab. De Vere Village Herons Reach Blackpool . good spa, bad hotel The spa facilities were excellent. Lovely staff and great treatments. However, we were booked onto a package deal, and the rest of the hotel facilities were a big let down. Nobody made us feel welcome, we weren\'t shown what the package entailed in terms of the gym, pool etc., just pointed towards the changing rooms. When we got in there, our locker cards didn\'t work. The pool was full of children as were the changing rooms, which was not remotely relaxing. The food service was poor, I am a vegetarian and was told that vegetarian meals were not offered as part of this package, the only thing available was a cheese sandwich. There was not even a menu for food on this package, we were told they needed to print them out and so didn\'t have any????!!! The food then took 45 minutes to arrive which meant we were 30 mins late for our treatments. Very poor package, apart from the treatments |
