Lovely day and much needed. Treatments and staff were excellent. For lunch there wasn't much choice (salad, sandwich or Jacket Potato) but what we had was nice. Would definitely go back and have already recommended to others. Pool is a little too small to actually swim in (only one lane) but for relaxing in the different jacuzzi's it was perfect. If you want to use the gym you need to pre book it - which we didn't know in advance, so make sure you do this is you want to use the gym too.

The Retreat at Gosling Sports Park opened its doors in September 2008 after a 4.7million refurbishment to the Lifestyle facility.You will be welcomed into a place of tranquillity and wellbeing. The Retreat offers an amazing selection of choice of treatments to relax and rejuvenate the mind, body and soul.
Relaxation & Pampering
The Retreat has created a special place where our therapists are on hand to relax, refresh and rejuvenate you. Start you experience in our spa with the blend of heat, steam and water. Enjoy the Indian Blossom Steam Room, Japanese Salt Steam Room, Finnish Sauna and Laconium to detox and lift the spirits. Take a dip in our spa pool where you can relax in the different areas of bubble jets. Once you’ve relaxed and feel rejuvenated let our highly trained therapists take you into one of our treatment rooms where you will be surrounded by soothing music and perfect pampering. Our therapies are tailor-made to your individual needs with our wide treatment choice. We call on centuries of knowledge in the ancient healing art of aromatherapy provided by Decleor.
Exercise & Activities
If you want to give your body a work out then enjoy our 100 station state of the art Technogym equipment or have a game of tennis in our new indoor tennis bubble. Looking for some thing not so strenuous then enjoy one of our classes that range from stretch and tone to Pilates or even clock up some lengths in the spa pool swimming lane.

The Retreat is set within a 52 acre sports complex and is a new addition to Gosling Sports Park. We have the ability to give a complete wellbeing experience provided by our outstanding staff and facilities. You can even visit our dry ski slope.

This was a belated birthday present for my moother and myself. As we visited this spa on one of the first shopping weekends in December we had the spa virtually to ourselves. The retreat has only been open a year the facilities were super. The spa pool and finnish saunas were lovely. The staff were attentive and could not do enough for us. My only slight complaint was the lunch menu could have had a better selection but apart from that we had a lovely day. We did not feel rushed at all and had plenty of time to use all the facilities. Our massages and facials were fantastic and scheduled towards the end of the day so we could feel the full benefit. We would definately visit the retreat again. A fantastic treat!Guest Rating -

The Retreat at Gosling has been going for a year and still feels new, everything is very tidy and clean, staff are friendly and attentive. Gosling Sports Park isn't new, it was an ordeal to find a car parking space and then we were unsure where to go. Reception pointed us to The Retreat which was beautiful, a real oasis. We felt completey away from it all. The facilities were good, the massage and facial were excellent. Lunch was average and we had to walk out the spa to the cafe of the gym. The area was tucked away but still felt a little embarassing to walkt through for lunch. The swimming pool was small and quite cold, didnt really want to stay in there for long but hte steam rooms were excellent with gorgeous smells and the shower that felt like tropical rain and had fragance added was gorgeous. The relax area was nice but the loungers were a little flat and uncomfortable. The showers of the gym were had to use and had no hooks or shelves for bottles. The manicure/pedicure which turned out to be literally a file and a paint was disappointing. The therapists were lovely girls but nails started chipping next day and after all the water could have done with some moisturiser.Guest Rating
