staff were lovely On arrival staff were welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the food, my friend is vegetarian and she was happy. The rooms are comfortable and of good standard, very clean. Treatment area lovely, had one wonderful treatment and one a little inexperienced. Would have liked to book more but fully booked. Pool area was basic and I felt it could do with a refurbishment. All in all a pleasant experience and fitted the bill for a much needed break. Helpfulness of staff outstanding. |

Spoilt! I loved it. I was given a spa day for two as a gift for my 21st and had been looking forward to it for ages! Working hard lately as we all do, all I needed was a lovely day in a spa (have never been to one before) and that is exactly what I got! I took my beautiful girlfriend with me we started off being shown around which was great, slightly confusing but we found our way around fine, then we headed to the gym! I had a bit of a hard time working a few bits of the equipment, I am used to gyms so was not sure why I could not work it but I was determined not to let that get to me! So I worked my way around. We then went for a lovely swim and no one else was in the pool which was really nice, and in the steam room and sauna, it was so peaceful just what I needed! Lunch was gorgeous I had Cajun chicken Panini, yummy, then had a massage, heaven. I would love to go back and the staff were lovely! |

Fab spa break Good value for the price we paid, facial I really enjoyed and the therapist was very relaxed, they were happy to upgrade one of the package treatments which was helpful. Very quiet spa and very relaxing, you never got the feeling that anyone was rushing you. Would recommend, although it helps to have a more experienced therapist. |

Pool Needs a Refurbishment The food was lovely and the staff who served us were really helpful. The area we had our treatments had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were quite helpful but it did feel that they were a bit rushed. The pool area of the hotel was very shabby and the few plastic beds that are scattered around looked a bit out of place and that is how you felt when you lay on one. The water was freezing and both the sauna and the steam room looked very worn and could do with a complete refurbishment. We made the best of it and sat in the lovely bistro eating our lunch and drinking coffee and chatting which was lovely. It was a boiling hot day and there were tables set up outside but none of them had an umbrella and after about ten minutes of sitting out there we were frazzled and could have done with some shade. All in all though it was lovely day that could have been better with a bit of updating. |

Fantastic value, great experience! I went for an overnight spa break with two of my friends, and we all came away raving about how great it was! What we got for the price was truly fantastic. The food was good quality and hearty (not necessarily healthy!) We had a nice two course lunch on arrival, the timing of which is totally flexible. We all had three courses for dinner - the only extra cost was a bottle of wine. The full English breakfast buffet on Sunday morning was also great. The rooms were very nice. One of the reasons I chose this package was because of the TWO included treatments. These were very good quality and did not feel rushed or not as good because they were part of a package. I have never felt more relaxed than I did after the massage! The rest of the facilities - swimming pool, steam room, sauna (we didn\'t use the gym!) - were ok. The only thing we felt was missing was a Jacuzzi. Would go back! |

A wonderful day out On arrival, my sister-in-law and I were shown around and told exactly what we could do and where things were, we had a lovely lunch. Our treatment was very relaxing and nobody rushed us, it was so good to relax and be able to chat in lovely surroundings. I recommend this day out for anyone. Will stay again! We stayed for a one night spa break and were impressed from the start. We arrived early in the day and was not expecting our room until 3pm but it was ready on arrival so brownie points from the start. We enjoyed a very nice lunch from the spa day menu in the Brassiere, not a complete menu but plenty of choice still and the portions were generous. After lunch we used the gym and the facilities were pretty good, all the machines were modern and fully operational. We then went for our treatments and the atmosphere of the spa rooms was very relaxing and the staff were very professional and well trained in the treatments. We had intended to use the pools afterwards but were too relaxed so had a sleep before dinner! The pools looked pretty good from what we could see. Dinner was chosen from a generous menu and was cooked to perfection. Great hotel, great staff, will stay again for sure |

A lovely, lovely day! I was given the spa day as a gift. My sister thought I needed to be relaxed as I was due to have a tumour removed on 29 January. It worked! I was so relaxed when I left the spa, my bones felt liquified.We spent the morning relaxing in the steam room and sauna interspersed with bursts of exercise in the swimming pools. We had lunch in the Brasserie which was slightly chilly due to a broken window catch. The complimentary lunch was very good though and the dessert was to die for.After lunch we had another swim and a sauna before relaxing in the spa relaxation area (where else?). Then it was time for our treatments. I had a facial (bliss) and a hot stone massage (wow). I will definitely be going back to have some more of the same. Thank you so much!! |
