So relaxing My daughter and I spent a day at the Cheltenham Chase. We used the pool and Jacuzzi and had a spa mother and daughter package which included back and shoulder massage, a facial and a manicure. We, also, had an Indian head massage. The facilities were very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable day. Lovely relaxing Day My daughter and I had a lovely relaxing day at the Cheltenham Chase Hotel Spa. We were shown the facilities on arrival so that we felt at home. The Spa and pool were bright and clean, my only complaint is that the changing room is rather small. The therapist was very pleasant and the treatments were excellent. Top class The staff were outstanding, with their friendliness and attention to customer needs. My wife is gluten free which all too often meets with a blank look and not a lot else. However, the restaurant staff fully understood the condition and had products such as gluten free bread available. The staff were also right on the ball when there was a possibility of wheat contamination to a food that is otherwise wheat free. (Can make her very ill) This was exceptionally good service. No where is perfect - Wi-Fi access is very over priced - cheaper to use your mobile and should be free these days, and the massage room music was more of an annoying beat than relaxing. However, these are nothing more than very minor niggles as the overall package was really excellent. Heaven! This was a real pampering treat and left us feeling relaxed and beautifully refreshed! The four treatments that we had, manicure, pedicure, facial and massage were carried out by polite and professional staff who made you feel extremely welcome. The pool was quiet for the majority of the day although did get busier around 4 o\'clock, the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi were clean and as you would expect those amenities to be. Lunch that was included in the cost was a little basic which would be my only slight disappointment, although you were able to purchase food from the beautiful lounge bar including cream teas! Considering it is a hotel, I was a little worried that it would be noisy and lots of hustle and bustle but the atmosphere was extremely calm and welcoming. A fantastic experience that I would certainly recommend and would love to do again combined with staying at the hotel. Only criticism is that 1 night spa break package included 3 course meal for 2 people - it is only stated that this is up to value of �25 per person on the menu, rather than at the time of booking. gentle pampering experience I did not enjoy the long break between treatments when I had a very average lunch in a very average bar, I also feel the reception area into the fitness area is slightly chaotic but from the moment I was taken into the treatment room for body and facial massage, manicure and pedicure, the treatments and the young Russian girl who gave me the treatments was excellent. Relaxing, welcoming & professional This was a present from me and 2 other sisters for our eldest sisters Birthday so they had four of us to contend with and did so with a professional and warm reception. Booking our treatments together was a bit difficult on one day but the next we all went together which was really helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. The spa was clean and well equipped and the staff very helpful. We would definitely recommend the hotel and spa and would return again, we all wished we could have stayed and extra night! Fantastic break This was a really lovely break to celebrate my mum\'s 60th birthday. The hotel is stunning and spotlessly clean. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. The spa treatments were fantastic but get booked up very early in advance so unless you book prior to your stay you will miss out. The food served in the hotel was excellent. Fantastic! This was a fantastic break purchased to celebrate my mother\'s 60th birthday with her 3 (grown up) daughters. The hotel is spotlessly clean; the staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. The food was excellent with a large variety of choice. The spa itself is fairly small but has all the facilities you could hope for. I would definitely recommend booking all the treatments you wish to have when you make your initial hotel booking as the spa is open to non-hotel guests and gets fully booked very quickly. The treatments themselves were fantastic and very good value for money. Overall this was an excellent hotel with wonderful facilities. Relaxing solo break All the staff, hotel and spa, made me feel welcome and were very good in dealing with any queries I had. The hotel is modern but, where it might lack in atmosphere, it does result in spacious accommodation (I asked for a double rather than a twin which was no problem) Initial room temperature was on the chilly side but the thermostat was soon fixed with a back up heater should I need it (I didn't). On my own I was not made to feel conspicuous or uncomfortable. The pool and spa facilities were excellent and professionally run. Being a conference centre as well as a spa break venue, the mixture of suits and dressing gowns/slippers in the corridors did feel a little strange but not intimidating! The restaurant food is a bit hit and mix due to an over extensive menu but choose the right meal at dinner and it shouldn't disappoint.
