generally pretty good I enjoyed the treatments I had. On arrival we were dealt with pretty well but had to ask for towels for showers and pool. The layout of the treatment rooms meant that sometimes you had to walk through the pool area and relaxation room to reach some of them- not very relaxing for those using the relaxation room. |

Fantastic experience What a lovely experience, I was really looking forward to my spa break and I was not disappointed. We arrived and discussed our treatments and there was also space so that we could pay for a couple of extra treatments. The staff were excellent and very friendly, special mention to Laura who carried out all my beauty treatments. The whole stay was just what we needed to relax and be pampered. Would certainly return to this lovely hotel. The staff are a credit. |

Not as i expected I think my expectations were too high of this trip. We were given conflicting information on what time we could have dinner,at reception we were told to book a time but it can be flexible because they were not that busy,on entering the bar 20mins early,we were told we could not go in until the exact time. In the room the champagne in the room was in a bucket of water, i guess it had been put there since the morning and the ice melted, despite checking in at the earliest time.The room was beautiful but needed some maintenance, the shower constantly went hot and cold.The spa area was a let down,for a spa break i expected more then a pool,jacuzzi and sauna and steam room.Although the area was very clean and the treatments were great and staff very friendly. In the morning housekeeping came in our room and starting cleaning when we were still in bed. Not the wake up call i expected. |

Will definatly return Had a lovely time and the staff and treatments were first class, the only thing I thought was slightly off was the fact that the spa reception also had the gym entrance so whilst waiting for treatments in a dressing gown there is a stream of people using the gym would walk by so it lost some of the serenity. That being said I still had a lovely and would still return. |

Spa day review Good day out to Cambourne, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Only down side is that we went on a Wednesday and although there is a pool there, it is occupied until 11:30 with mums & babies. This meant that when we arrived at 10am, we were not able to use the pool, just the spa & sauna until they were finished. Staff all very pleasant and to compensate, they gave us the use of a room in the hotel to change in (instead of the crowded changing rooms full of children & todlers). This was very nice and at least quiet!Would go again, but not on a Wednesday! |

Bliss My friend and I have a spa weekend every year, in 2009 we found the Belfry. It was by far a much nicer experience than the other spas we visited in the past. So this year, because the prices are so reasonable we increased the length of our stay and completely unwound. It is a lovely place, the food is great, the Saturday night chef's meals are out of this world! We made full use of the relaxation room after treatments, this was a nice added touch. I had 4 treatments in all and was very pleased with them all. One elder member of the bar staff was exceptionally helpful, we will always remember him and hope to see him year after year. |
