The Charter Bar is situated in the lounge for that quiet cup of tea or something stronger. The Golf Bar (19th) is for refreshment after a hard day on the course. A wonderful day My daughter and I had the Essential Spa Day, this included a mini facial and back neck and shoulder massage, we also used the club facilities during the day the steam room, Jacuzzi, pool and the Gym, all were very good. The treatments were very enjoyable and relaxing, the Spa facilities were very nice and clean, the staff were very helpful and made the day most pleasing. We both thoroughly enjoyed the day in what can only be described as beautiful surroundings and will look forward to returning in the future. |

Relaxing and Reviving We were extra lucky with the weather but besides that the whole ambience of the spa and its surroundings were relaxing. The staff were pleasant, polite and helpful, especially in the restaurant. The food was excellent - fresh and tasty and we were allowed to take our time over the meal. The leisure area was clean and maintained to an acceptable level although I did find the pool a bit too cold for my liking which was the most disappointing thing about our experience. The treatment was the highlight of our stay. The girls were very pleasant and proficient at their jobs and the beauty salon had a lovely relaxing feel to it. The bedroom was clean and comfortable and we had a lovely view over the golf course. I would recommend the spa and hotel to anyone wanting a really good chill out experience in lovely surroundings where you are made to feel a million dollars. |

Relaxing experience The spa itself gets 15/5. The staff were very professional and helpful and made me feel very at home and welcome. The treatments (I had the shoulder neck and back massage and the mini facial) blended into a long relaxing treatment where I felt years of stress just fade away. It was more than worth the money. I had paid Ł90 just for the treatments, but to have the other facilities and the gorgeously delicious meal and cosy bedroom too! Amazing! The pool, steam room, sauna and tennis all fit in nicely too! My only quibble is with the hotel room, where the phone was not working and I had a hard time contacting reception, though when I did they went out of their way to meet my requests! The room itself was amazingly comfortable and almost perfectly clean! And overall I wish I had never had to come home! :) I recommend highly to anyone who just needs a bit of a pampering. |

Relaxing Spa Day? We did think that we might have received a brochure or an itinerary in the post - nothing only a confirmation email. On arrival at the hotel the staff at the Health Spa reception did not really know too much about our itinerary. We were not told that the Jacuzzi was not working! The pool had children in it that were throwing beach balls around! We spent the morning sat at the pool reading (which was ok) Light lunch was nice but the bar tender did not know what we could order off the menu, so we were kept waiting! Massage was good, facial was good, Pedicure - hmmmm I thought a pedicure involved a lot more than just a polish? Our treatments were booked for 1pm, which meant that after having our pedicure (oops sorry - polish) we were unable to return to the pool area in case we smudged the polish. So all in all not really a very relaxing time. |

Spa Break for two My husband and I had a really fantastic time. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The spa was very relaxing we liked the Jacuzzi the best. We had a Swedish massage which was luxury. The room we stayed in was lovely, very clean and comfortable. Dinner and Breakfast was included in the price which was a real treat as the food was delicious! We stayed for one night only and felt like we had been away for a week! |
