brilliant, brilliant, brilliant I treated my friend to an overnight spa week end for her 60th birthday (what do you buy for a lady who has everything!!) It was fantastic, could not fault one single thing, we both enjoyed all aspects of our weekend. Tankersley Manor is such a wonderful place, friendly staff, fabulous food, spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. The spa treatments were amongst the best we\'ve ever had, the pool area was great, with comfortable loungers and complimentary robes and towels. Will DEFINITELY go again. Wonderfull relaxing weekend We had a lovely time staff very friendly, treatments were very professional, hotel restaurant very stylish, pool and sauna and steam room all very clean, pool was quite big. There was 8 of us went on a hen night, it was perfect and so was the price, couldn�t believe what you got for the money. Excellent break. I chose this spa break for my hen party. We were a group of eight ladies who like the finer things in life and enjoy a good old pamper and relax with friends and good food! We got just this! The spa breaks are excellent value and the level of treatment you receive are very high. The spa, treatments, staff, restaurant and hospitality shown to us was brilliant and it didn\'t break the bank! We would certainly return. A quality experience The location is good for the local countryside and visits to local amenities. The staff was extremely helpful and the service was good. Very relaxing dayt I took my mum for a Mother & Daughter spa day for her 70th birthday and it was the first time either of us had visited the spa at Tankersley Manor. I was pleased I had been to another spa before and knew "the drill" as we were given virtually no information upon arrival, although we were promptly given our towels, robes & a drink. The whole spa was spotlessly clean and wasn't too busy so was a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The quality of the lunch was excellent, with a selection including soup, sandwiches, salads and desserts (you choose 2 courses)- we chose soup and sandwiches- the sandwiches were freshly made, and HUGE- a soft drink is included but we chose to buy a glass of wine. We did have to rush lunch a bit as, due to the earlier lack of information, we didn't know we had to go into the pub to eat (we were taken by the gentleman who had taken over on reception-he couldn't have been more helpful). This was also a bit of a pain as we had to get dressed again, but the pub has a lovely atmosphere with a lovely open fire and the staff are lovely. The treatments were wonderful and the therapists very pleasant and professional- I had had a very stressful few days before our spa day but came out feeling extremely relaxed and refreshed- a lovely day	Service of staff & quality of treatments Condition of spa and overall cleanliness Overall satisfaction	Guest rating 13/15

could have been better customers should be told when facilities are not working (steam room), the restaurant seemed short staffed so we had to get up and ask for more drinks and desserts that we pre ordered, the changing rooms & toilets are not very clean and the lockers don't work, we had to get a attendant to open it. The treatments where OK, but staff members kept coming in to use/borrow products, which is a little off putting. Personally I felt I didn't get value for money, but went along with the booking as I didn't want to let my Mother down on her birthday, I am comparing Tankersley manor to St Paul's in Sheffield city centre and there is a big difference but you are charged the same price �200. Very relaxing We had a lovely day, only one slight problem, lunch was served in the main hotel area which meant having to get dressed again and then to rush to be back in time for treatments as the services was a little slow - maybe lunch could be served in the lounge area of the spa suite?
