A £2 Million rejuvenation programme has transformed St Michael’s into one of the leading hotels in the South West. In the 2004 Cornwall Tourism Awards, St Michael’s was the Runner Up for Hotel of the Year.
St Michael’s Spa opened in 2005 and is Cornwall’s leading destination Spa with a large, heated indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, solarium, steam room and well equipped gymnasium. Treatments include a wide range of massage, facials, body wraps, tanning, manicure and pedicure using marine, organic and aromatherapy based products.
St Michael’s enjoys a fine reputation for its food and has won a number of awards including a Rosette from the AA. The Oyster Bay Restaurant offering first class cuisine and stunning sea views; the more informal Flying Fish Bar and Grill offers great food in a relaxed atmosphere.

A swim in our large heated indoor swimming pool is an essential part of your visit, together with luxuriating time in the sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room. No expense has been spared in creating the most indulgent of environments.
Fitness
As well as rejuvenating you may wish to exercise the mind and body in the large well equipped gym and fitness suite. Facilities include a full range of resistance and cardiovascular equipment with treadmills, cycles, step machines and cross trainers and rower’s .There is also a free weights area and staff on hand to advise you on your fitness programmes
Refresh
A visit to the Spa wouldn’t be complete without taking refreshment in The Flying Fish Bar and Grill. Fun and informal, it offers a full range of coffees teas, infusions, presses, juices and the like. It is open every day for lunch and dinner with a great selection of dishes utilising fresh, Cornish produce, including some healthy “Spa Options”!
