Changing room very nice, clean & tidy, shower gel, shampoo all provided. We went straight into the pool which was nice but a bit small compared to a normal leisure centre pool. They also had 2 warm hydrotherapy pools but I felt they were too hot for me (pregnant). The steps in and out of the various pools were a bit steep & a struggle for anyone pregnant/elderly/arthritic. Unfortunately, our day was a bit spoiled by not having a tour on arrival. The receptionist bombarded us with information, far too much to take in and we therefore missed out on some things (e.g. never found the relaxation room). Reception also told us the wrong start time for our treatments which meant they were a bit rushed and cut short. Otherwise a nice place, lovely views of the bay, good treatments, nice lunch, juice bar area & lovely outdoor sun terrace. Just make sure you get an introductory tour!

In our Spa Studio we offer a range of exercise classes including, Yoga, Nia, Swiss Ball and Boxercise with Aqua Aerobics in the swimming pool, these classes are complimentary and can be booked with our Spa Reception. We can offer personal fitness assessment or design fitness programmes tailored to your specific needs, an appointment with the nutritionist for advice and BEST system analysis can also be arranged at an additional cost.

The best part of the spa is the pool area, with several pools, waterfalls, etc. Between treatments I napped quite happily on a pool chair, imagining myself somewhere warm and balmy. I was disappointed with the rest of the day. When I first arrived I was not introduced to the spa nor given a tour, so I had no idea where to go for my treatments etc., and was therefore delayed (treatment shortened accordingly). I started with a massage, which was just fine (I've had better but I've also had worse) with a kind and attentive masseuse, but then I was left to my own devices again (I got lost again, and needed help finding lunch - how embarrassing!).Lunch was mediocre at best, though it was not the fault of the staff who were friendly and helpful. I felt very odd in my robe and slippers while everyone else in the room was fully clothed, although they told me that it's more usual for everyone else to be in robes.My afternoon treatments were a facial (my first so I hesitate to critique it), and a file and polish for hands and feet. For the mani/pedi they brought me out to a corridor between two stairwells, next to the gym, and although there was a view it felt a bit cobbled together. I was disappointed with the value for money, although they did do everything they said they would (and I got a nice nap too).Guest Rating -
