Sopwell House Spa 
From the outside you'll see a charming Georgian country house when you visit Sopwell House Spa in St Albans, and the spa is an absolute delight too, with everything you need to take care of mind, body and soul.
The ESPA, Clarins and Jessica treatments on offer will do all they can to transport you ro spa heaven, and then you can lie back and relax in the spa's beautiful art deco inspired pool, or the steam room and sauna.
The hotel is set in 12 acres of gorgeous gardens, and an overnight stay is very much recommended too!
Please note: Spa Day packages only available Monday - Thursday.
Spa will be under refurbishment from 3rd January until 19th February 2012 and will not have any wet facilities available.

fantastic, excellent,amazing perfect I took my mum to Sopwell House on a Lazy Sunday package we were very happy with the package and our whole stay at Sopwell. We arrived early around 12. We checked in at reception and left our bags there while we went for a coffee, our room was ready at 12.40, which was great, considering check in wasn’t till 3. The atmosphere was relaxing and every one was looking very pleased with there stay. We went to our room which was spotless and a lovely view over the gardens and the Japanese garden. The whole place was well kept and there is clearly a lot of attention being made to detail. We went to the spa and used the sauna ,steam, pool and Jacuzzi, that was excellent, we had our full body massages they were really great. we paid for afternoon tea, which was tea, amazing sandwiches, yummy cakes and scones, this is definitely worth having too. We had a 3 course dinner the dinner was excellent quality. |

Relax and be pampered I had a wonderfully relaxing Spa pamper day with a friend at Sopwell House. The robes and slippers felt luxurious and the locker system was very easy and efficient. Little details, but they make a big difference. Staff were there when you wanted them but not intrusive and the treatments were very well executed. The buffet lunch was excellent. All in all, highly recommended. |

Excellent friendly professional relaxed Professional, prompt and friendly service, very relaxing and enjoyable. Only draw back was children in the pool and insufficient loungers and chairs around the pool. Also the experience could have been better balanced with two treatments am and two pm with the massage before lunch to allow oils to soak in. |

fantastic This was my second vist to sopwell spar. I took my mum for mother and daughter day 2 years ago and ended up taking my auntie who was 80 plus my mum and my husband. He was very unsure of going, however he was very supprised and has even mentioned of joing up for membership. Overall there wasnt anything left out from the service from the staff to the food (which was amazing) to the pamper sessions Cant wait for my next visit !!!!! |

Had a good day Sopwell house is a lovely relaxing place, my only gripes were the lunch wasnt great and I was kept waiting for treatments, my friend and I went together in the hope we would be given treatments at the same time. It is now December and I should have written this review earlier (sorry Sopwell House!) we are now looking to book for 2012. Heaven Even though the spa was having some building work done, everything was geared up so it caused as little disruption as possible. My friend and I had a revitalising day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The three course lunch was delicious. The back massage was one of the best I have ever had, with the therapist finding a knot in my back which is not normally discovered. My only gripe is they did not have some of the products I wanted to buy, but this was not their fault due to rebranding not all of the stock had come through. Beautiful surrounding, lovely staff and fantastic treatments. Highly recommend |

great day The massage and facial were great experiences and both myself and my daughter enjoyed both, I was particularly disappointed with the mini pedicure; I don\'t call a file and paint a pedicure. The spa was under refurbishment and it was a long walk to the alternative facilities for the treatments, this was not explained at the time of booking. Lunch was really good. |
