Very hard to beat Arrived in the afternoon, room was ready & Champagne and chocolates were in the room after our swim. My wife had 2 treatments & was very happy. The evening meal with the set menu was very flexible. We ate in the bar restaurant which was great and not like the name suggests. We mixed the stuff on set menu with 2 other menus in the restaurant. We were supposed to pay the difference (about £5 more per head) but when we settled the bill they didn\'t charge us. The surroundings were great. The waiting staff are very attentive & the food was fantastic, fresh and very tasty. The morning full English was excellent also. Too be honest I would have stayed there another night, my only whinge is our room was above an outside refrigerated room and the compressor kicked in several times during the night and woke me. Also some morning breakfast trays were still out in the corridors at 2pm but even so 10/10+ |

Spa Break We found the spa and rooms at the hotel really nice. The only downside was the menu we were offered on the spa break. We felt as if we were treated different from other guests as our food the 1st night was rubbish. On the second night we were handed a different menu which was really tasty food. We assumed that the menu changed at weekends. On leaving they charged us an extra £10 for that menu. Surely there cannot be just £5 difference between a great menu and a rubbish one! The breakfasts were lovely and staff really friendly. The spa treatments were great and we really enjoyed 2 nights away from the kids and we just relaxed. Probably would not go again due to the evening food, but would definitely use Spa Seekers again. |

could be better The friendliness and the service of the staff were spot on and the massage and facial were wonderful.The pedicure was spoilt a little by the less than celubrious surroundings and the slightly uncomfortable chairs.I was very disappointed that the sauna was out of action and we were not warned in advance. As this is the main part of the spa experience for me I would not have booked had I known.Also, the chairs in the relaxation lounge were not very comfortable, nor those in the manicure area.The hotel room was of a high standard and the breakfast was lovely. However, the other meals were pretty average.As a place to stay over it was fine but I wouldn't choose it again for a spa experience. |

Mum & Daughter treat My daughter and I spent a relaxing time at Sketchley Grange for the Sunday Overnight experience. Staff were very welcoming on arrival, and we were both given towels and robes as soon as we arrived. Evening meal was very appetizing, and a good choice was offered. Our room was very comfortable, and up to 4 star rating. Very good choice for breakfast, from continental to full English. Gym facilities were good, and changing rooms very clean, and spacious. Our only complaint would be that the swimming pool became very noisy, with the presence of children, who were obviously guests at the hotel. They were portioned off from other swimmers in the pool, but it tended to spoil the atmosphere of what otherwise would have been a lovely area to relax. |

Fantastic Staff I have just come back from a girls at the grange spa break. I was impressed with the 3 treatments that we had each, as the staff we\'re so friendly and down to earth. The treatment times were running over but the girls did come out and let you know that they would be with you in a few minutes time so you were not left in limbo land. The first treatment was a back massage and it was so relaxing we both fell into a snooze. The second treatment was a facial which was very hydrating and not greasy at all, and the third treatment was manicure/pedicure which was just as relaxing as the back massage. The room was very comfortable and breakfast had a good choice. We also had lunch in the bistro - sandwiches were superb and very filling! We had a 3 course dinner within the package and I must say the food was good. Not terrific but good enough for the deal. I would definitely come back! |

Treatment fabulous!! I won a spa day for 2 including 2hrs of treatment each at work, what can I say I wouldn\'t call it a spa at all, it is a normal health club with daily members as the only spa facilities are pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. lunch was a stale baguette and 4 crisps but the treatments were amazing! I had back, neck and shoulder massage, facial and pedicure and they were the best treatments I have ever had! Our twin room had low lighting and ambient music which really relaxed me, would go again but only for the 3.5hr treatment package. |

Average spa stay The Spa facilities were clean and of a good standard. The quality of the food was also excellent, in particular the full English breakfast and the vegetarian option. However, the room was simple and lacked basic cleanliness or even soap in the bathroom. This spoilt the stay as it did not feel the treat we were expecting. |

Fantastic! I booked our stay at Sketchley Grange as a last minute Christmas gift for my partner. The lady I dealt with was truly helpful and got my gift vouchers to me before Christmas Day. The Hotel was fantastic. I’m normally quite dubious about Spa\'s because I sometimes find them to be overpriced & pretentious but Sketchley Grange was really friendly. The staff at the Hotel and Spa all gave you your space while still making you feel like you mattered! As a couple that dine out often, we couldn’t give the food enough praise - it was simply beautiful! Overall, our stay was perfect. My only criticism being the absent lock on the bathroom door - which is well and truly forgiven. |

Fantastic I went to the spa with my Mother to celebrate her 50th Birthday, and we were greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff, provided with drinks on arrival. We were soon taken to have our treatments, which lasted just over an hour which were both wonderful. The staff were very polite and very respectful of your privacy. The lunch included was very good aswell. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing day! |
