Q. What's your philosophy on 'Wellness' and what do you do to encourage this?
A. SenSpa's philosophy is rooted in traditional Thai healing practices which focus on holistic wellness and inner beauty. We operate on the premise that the balance of 'sen' or energy lines of the body are the key to wellness. Many of our treatments are specially formulated to restore this balance and rejuvenate mind, body and spirit. For example our traditional Thai massage, uses a combination of acupressure, reflexology and yogic exercises, or gentle stretching, removing any blockages restoring harmony and leaving you refreshed and energised.

heavenly but rigid The facilities at this spa are wonderful and fun too - I did spend most of the time laughing which is also a good form of relaxation. The only criticism I have is that they are too rigid - lunch was booked in for 12.30 and I did try to change this so I could book another treatment which clashed and was told I could not change lunch!! oh well the answer to this problem is to ensure you book your treatments before you go - I would certainly go back to SenSpa. |

The perfect break The Senspa is excellent. The hydrotherapy areas are the best I have been to, and offer a relaxing enviornment with areas to sit, as well as a fantastic ozone pool for those who want to exercise! The staff are helpful, and the whole area exceptionally clean. We greatly enjoied the 'mind body class'.The Thai resturant at the Spa is a delight, and offers really good thai food for lunch as well as an excellent traditional breakfast menu and a wide range of smoothies. It is a bonus that the resturant is within the Spa, so you can use it in your robe if you wish!Careys Manor hotel is a real treat, our room was upgraded to one of thier recently refurbished Oakwood rooms, which was very large and the new decor was very tasteful. The bar and resturant service is highly commendable, and the AA Rosette resturant is pure heaven!This was my second trip to Careys Manor and Senspa, and I am saving my pennies ready for the next trip already! It is an expensive choice, but well worth every penny, and I recommend the 'Lazy Sunday Break' as the best value option.................. |

Highly recommended Took two 3 day breaks at the Carey Manor Hotel in 2008 and used the Sen Spa on each occasion on an upgraded package. Use of the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi comes with the hotel stay and upgrade is for the Sen Spa which offers hydro pool which is truly wonderful, along with other therapy facilities. Treatments on offer are varied with some specialist Thai massages.I would recommend overnight stay so as to take advantage of the setting of the hotel and spa which is situated on the edge of the New Forest. There is also a Thai restaurant and a French bistro as well a the hotel's Manor restaurant which I would recommend for a special dinner. |

5 star spa! I booked myself and a friend the treatment and dinner package as a pamper day present. What an amazing day! A beautiful building and location, from the moment we arrived we started to unwind far from traffic, the grounds are amazing, and being so close to the wildlife and beauty of the New Forest whilst we sipped champagne from the hottub was an experience like no other. We both opted for hotstone treatments which were bliss, high quality and professional. We then took dinner outside watching the sunset over the forest and kept laughing as the place was very quiet and just what we both needed. We recommend it to others alot and would certainly go back. 5 star experience! |

excellent, wonderful experience i had a wonderful day at this spa which is thai themed, pools saunas& steam rooms were all clean & well maintained. The staff were thai and very courteous & my back, neck & shoulder massage was 1st class, i enjoyed the body balance class which was in an ornately decorated room. I enjoyed my lunch in restful surroundings overlooking a japanese garden and the relaxation areas were lovely with free green tea available. All in all a wonderful experience. |
