Wonderful Hen Day I booked a hen day package for myself and 7 others. We had a really lovely day, The staff were really helpful and nice. When we arrived we were shown around the facilities and then into the changing room. There was another group of hens in the female changing rooms (which were a little small) so we were offered the male ones as they were not going to be used all day. This was great and gave us a room for our sole use for the day and somewhere to get ready for our night out afterwards. The spa was lovely, very clean and we esp enjoyed the hot tub outside. All of us really enjoyed the treatments and the light lunch was great. I would highly recommend this package and spa, i have been to others and this one was the best value for money and customer care. |

lovely day out Lovely relaxing day - was assigned the same girl all day long for my treatments. She was very efficient and was also very flexible when choosing my treatments. The only downside was lunch - the spa man said that it wasn\'t included in my package and so I had to pay extra. Fortunately I had my spa brochure with me and so was able to point out what was included in my package and told the spa attendant that I would complain to you if I was asked to do a review - I had a refund before I left!!! |

Professional treatments It was rather a strange set-up as you had to spend most of your day around the pool, which at one end had a glass window to the gym where you could see/be seen. Reception was half way along the length of the pool so people were walking in outdoor shoes along the pool which didn\'t seem terribly hygienic. Lunch was served at the side of the pool on garden furniture. There was only one toilet in the changing rooms. The highlight was the treatments (facial, massage and pedicure) which were very good. However, the treatment rooms were some way along the hotel corridors and to get to the nearest loo you had to go down the main staircase and through reception which was a bit embarrassing. The hotel is currently going through a major refurbishment which might explain the current arrangements. Despite all the oddities the staff were friendly and helpful and I left very relaxed! |

lovely hotel Very nice hotel and golf course. Great value for money if you are looking for a spa on a budget. I personally prefer a health spa to be just that and nothing else. This hotel was a hotel, golf course, wedding venue and a spa (7 weddings the weekend we were there!)! A little too busy for myself. But treatments were lovely, the girls friendly and informative and the treatment length was as advertised. They are also undergoing extensive building works. Whilst not noisy it does mean that the layout of the hotel is a little bit all over the place, more an inconvenience than anything else. Would recommend to family and friends if they had a tight budget, but would suggest elsewhere not so busy if you have a little more money to spend. |

Wonderful Day Out Staff were very welcoming and helpful in the beautifully newly refurbished venue. I had a very relaxing morning with a swim and an early lunch. Shortly after lunch I was taken to a very nice spa room and given a thorough instruction on what was to happen next. The sessions were wonderful and extremely comforting and relaxing. Lovely day My husband purchased me a Mother and Daughter Pamper Day for my birthday. We had a lovely day swimming and in the sauna and steam room. The staff in the spa area were helpful and very accommodating about getting coffees and lunch (my mum requires a special diet!!). Our treatments were lovely (mum nearly fell asleep during her massage) we had three in total and the therapists were friendly and professional. It's a bit of a shame that as you arrive there is extensive building work going on which spoils the look of an otherwise pretty entrance, but you can't hear or see the work once in the spa. The work will be finished soon and will include a new spa area, which is good as the current pool is nice but a little tired! Overall we had a lovely relaxing day, with super treatments and I would recommend the spa for a treat!! |
