the Mercure Last Drop Hotel and Spa in Bolton seems to be frozen intime, with cobbled streeets, antique shops and a little pub.
Inside the hotel it's anything but old-fashioned, with a selection of eight treatment rooms all using Carita, Decleor and Jessica - among other great spa brands - to make you feel amazing.
In true spa style, the heat and cold are represented with a thermal suite of a rock sauna, bio-sauna, laconium, and two steam rooms, one with aromatherapy - and the cool part comes from the hydro-pool with snail showers and an ice fountain.

FANTASTIC DAY I had a mother and daughter spa day as a Christmas present because my daughter had not long had a baby and I thought that she needed to be spoilt a little. It was a very enjoyable day from start to finish. The staff were all really friendly and the treatments were lovely. I’m sorry that I didn’t have more treatments than we did. We will be booking another one but when funds are available. |

relaxing and heavenly The staff could not have been more helpful, everything I needed such as a robe and slippers was awaiting me in my locker. I had a wonderful swim followed by a sauna prior to an early lunch as my massage treatments were scheduled for 1.30. The massage was wonderfully relaxing and the facial left me skin feeling so invigorated, and to end the day a manicure. I was going out for a meal with friends that same evening and following my spa day I felt 100% on top of the world. |

Perfect post Christmas pamper We really enjoyed our spa day. We indulged in the winter warmer package which I thought was great value for money. Treatments enjoyable at the end of a day spent lazing in the sauna and pool, In particular liked the outdoor pool. |

So relaxing Upon arrival the reception staff were friendly and helpful, showing us around and explaining the benefit of all the different saunas/steam rooms available. As we were there for a relaxing day we did not make use of the gym, but spent the time either side of lunch and our treatments, in the swimming pool, saunas, and steam rooms and inside / outside whirl pool. The hot stone massage was wonderful and the facial treatments were excellent, tailored to each of us individually by the professional staff. In summary. My mum & I had a wonderful day and would definitely recommend this spa to others. |

Fantastic Spa Facilities I attended this spa with the combination of two packages, the 1 night spa break and also the deluxe pamper day. We had a wonderful experience there. The food was exceptionally good, and the spa facilities were extensive and highly relaxing! There were a large number of saunas to go into as well as a steam room. The outdoor heated swimming pool was great, and the Jacuzzi was wonderful too. However, the view from the outdoor pool was not that good as it was just a car park. The treatments were really well done and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The only dissatisfaction about the treatment is that I only got a file and nail polish which did not last very long, when what I expected was an hour’s combined time of manicure and pedicure. It also has a good sized swimming pool which was great, however it was a bit dangerous as the lighting was not very good. |

Very enjoyable I took my cousin for a surprise day spa for her birthday and we were not disappointed. We were expecting one beauty treatment and in fact were given two (body and facial massage) . The facilities were very clean and the staff very helpful. The only negative comment that I would make is that the gowns had seen better days but considering the lovely day we had I can discount this. |

Relaxing Pamper Day As a special treat for my daughter I booked a mother and daughter pamper day. On arrival we found the staff welcoming and courteous and we were shown round all the facilities as we hadn't been to the spa before. We found the facilities excellent and the infinity jacuzzi pool particularly most relaxing. We had 3 treatments each which we really enjoyed. With lunch included we were completely satisfied and went home feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. |

Fantastic Spa Day My sister and I enjoyed every aspect of our day at the spa. First of all, we used the excellent gym facilities, before enjoying the steam rooms, saunas and hydrotherapy pool. The lunch provided was a delicious buffet, with a range of tasty options. I had a neck and back massage, which was very relaxing, and the products used smelled great. My sister had a mini-facial, which was so relaxing that she fell asleep! Staff were all very friendly and approachable. I really liked the relaxation room with comfy armchairs, and the fact that tea and coffee were available throughout the day. Great value spa, thoroughly recommended. |
