Total Relaxation I purchased the 2 for 1 Serenity Spa package at Ardoe House for my friends 40th Birthday present. Because of my job I found it difficult to find a suitable date in the 6 month period. Spa Seekers were really understanding and extended the voucher. The day at the spa was great. We arrived at 10am and were greeted by friendly staff. Lunch was pre ordered and was pleased with the choice. Our beauticians were very nice and experienced. In the morning we had a back massage and facial which included a scalp massage. We were totally relaxed after and lost track of time in the relax room that the staff had to tell us that lunch was ready!! I had my nails done and my friend had her legs massaged in the afternoon. Lunch was the only disappointment. The sandwiches were stale. We weren\'t really that bothered as that wasn\'t what we were there for. Would recommend this experience to anyone. |

Excellent 50th Birthday Treat This was part of my 50th birthday present from my daughter to have a mini spa day together. We had a great day. The staff were lovely, the food was delicious and the treatment a fully body massage was absolutely wonderful. We really enjoyed using the facilities and would highly recommend it. Great relaxing break Beautiful setting for a hotel, staff were very polite, helpful and courteous. Just the break we needed before Christmas, relaxation all the way. The spa was very clean, staff advice was good before and after treatment. Would thoroughly recommend a break at this hotel, we are planning to go back as soon as possible. |

Nice My mum and I had a great day. The only complaint we had was that we weren\'t kept very informed of what was happening. I was told that I would be given a robe and locker - which never materialised, and my mum wasn\'t offered it at all. The girl\'s were good, but didn\'t say much so wasn\'t really made to feel at ease. Apart form the girl who did my nails (I can\'t remember her name but she was heavily pregnant), who was lovely and very chatty. I would recommend her over anything/one else. |

Serenity Spa Day Arriving as requested half an hour before the first treatment , we were offered refreshment, which arrived without cups and then ignored! We were asked for our lunch order, though soup of the day was unknown; given a quick tour of the facilities and told to change and wait in the \'relaxation room\' of one lounger and several bean bags. Not informative, not reassuring, not comfortable and thus not relaxing! However, once the actual treatments started the serenity began and we were able to surrender ourselves into the capable hands of the wonderful masseuses! The treatments were well spaced to allow for lunch and a swim in the lovely pool etc. Stress levels reduced as required.Lunch was OK but we had to ask for wine. Overall a lovely day and we left refreshed, but, a little more attention when we arrived would have been appreciated as this was our first experience. We will go again. |
