A truly relaxing experience We booked a Revival Day in the Spa. We arrived at 10am and were given a warm welcome by the hotel staff who escorted us to the Spa. We were again greeted by friendly staff who were more than happy to described the treatments and facilities. The package included a day room which was of a high standard and very clean.The Spa area facilities were excellent and included an indoor heated pool, steam room, hot room, and Jacuzzi.The relaxation room was quiet with comfortable loungers, teas, coffee and juices. All of the facilities were clean and the lunch included was fine. We chose to eat in the bar and didn\'t feel awkward dining in our provided bathrobes and slippers.We had two 20 minutes treatments each, which included a back and shoulder massage. Heaven!The therapists were professional, friendly and knew their stuff. We left after 6 hours of totally relaxed. Brilliant. |

Great spa treat for my 40th It was really easy to book. Speaking to someone to organise treatments for the party of 7. Every one really enjoyed themselves and it was great that we also had the facility to use 2 rooms even though we didn\'t need to use them. The only disappointment was the bar food. We thought it was very expensive and had to wait quite a while to be served. Apart from that it was a brilliant day! |

Clean, quiet, small Lovely modern spa and, apart from about an hour, we had the place to ourselves! Therapists were very friendly and gave a lovely massage; however, the person on spa reception when we arrived was very unhelpful and very negative. Sauna wasn\'t on which I reported, maintenance came (didn\'t put overshoes on) but receptionist didn\'t bother to tell us he\'d fixed it. She also said she couldn\'t get us any papers to read but we could go to reception (in our robes) to purchase some! There were no papers available at hotel reception and I was told we couldn\'t have the ones from the bar. However a senior member of staff intervened and requested receptionist retrieve papers from the bar for us. Fire alarms were tested and went off while we were in the pool, would have been nice to have been forewarned! All in all a good visit but please train your reception staff, it\'s a service industry! |

Good rest day, but... Great treatments, nice pool, quiet, clean, warm, steam, sauna; all great, BUT, the biggest disappointment is that there was no bar/restaurant area to chill out in and have a drink/coffee/ lunch. You either had to go back to your room (there is a surcharge for room service), or get dressed and go to one of the restaurants/bars. This breaks up the flow of the day. It feels as though the spa was slightly cramped to spend a whole day and designed more for going for one treatment then home again. |

As it was a quiet day, we had the rest room to ourselves, but were also provided with a room in the hotel for the day (at no extra cost) in case it became busy and we needed somewhere else to go. Environment was clean and relaxing and as it was a good half way point as a meeting place, we look forward to going again. |

Relaxing Day We reported to reception and nobody really directed us, the hotel staff were not sure whether lunch was included and neither were the spa staff, we spent a while trying to get things sorted as nobody knew the answers. The treatments were very nice and the use of facilities was good, but we didn\'t really have time to use many of them. More attention to details would have made the day much more relaxing and pleasant. |
